1. Choose a reasonable load weight

The gym is a public fitness place and everyone has the right to use fitness equipment. Therefore, in the gym, leg muscles are usually exercised with leg extension machines, but don’t just use them when you see others leave. You need to check some load weights first, and it’s not too late to start after adjusting to a weight that suits you. Because carrying too heavy a weight will increase the risk of injury dramatically.

2. Master the correct way to use fitness equipment

The leg extension machine in the gym is the first choice for practicing leg strength, but when using the leg extension machine, there are some usage methods that need to be mastered to avoid common mistakes.

①The seat of the fitness machine is either too far forward or too far back.

②The pace is too fast and there is no control.

③ Hold on to the handrails tightly and use your upper body to help lift and lower heavy objects.

Correct Operation

① Keep your knee joint as the axis of the movement. The equipment usually has instructions on where your knee should be in the most appropriate position.

②During the entire movement, your back should be pressed against the seat back cushion.

③Don’t look down. Instead, keep your shoulders back and look forward.

Leg exercises at the gym will help us strengthen our legs and help us perform our daily lives better.
