Anus is wet and has a peculiar smell

The anus is our main excretory organ. When a certain amount of waste accumulates in the body, we excrete it through the anus. However, in our daily lives, we always ignore the health of the anus. In fact, the anus may also develop diseases such as hemorrhoids. If you find that your anus is wet and has an odor, but there are no other symptoms, such as blood in the stool, you can perform appropriate hygienic cleaning.

The anus is the end of the anorectal cavity and is an organ in the human body located between the buttocks. The anus has three main functions.

(1) The release of waste gas from the human body, namely farting (also known as bed-warming gas).

(2) Excretion of waste from the human body, also known as excretion.

(3) Gating function: prevents intestinal contents from involuntarily overflowing from the body, and prevents foreign matter such as gas and liquid from entering the intestinal cavity.

The anus needs to be cleaned frequently. Common diseases include hemorrhoids, anal fissures, rectal prolapse, anal fistula, anal sinusitis, anal edema, and perianal abscess.

When talking about the anus in daily life, people often find it difficult to start talking about it. However, it is only a very important part of the human body function. In traditional Chinese medicine, the anus is also called the "Soul Gate" and is the messenger of the five internal organs. "Shi" means envoy in ancient times, that is, any pathological changes of the five internal organs can be reflected in the anus. It is also said that "water and food cannot be stored for long", which shows that the anus has the function of controlling and defecation. This ability of control and defecation is coordinated with the "drying" and conduction function of the large intestine, and is dominated by the five internal organs. After defecation, the anus will naturally contract, and the gas (fart) will not be discharged with any fecal residue. This is because the anus has very good sensory control ability. The closed anus can prevent external bacteria and foreign objects from entering the human body. The skin of the anus contains a large number of lymphocytes, and its self-cleaning ability and contraction ability are unmatched by the skin of other parts of the human body. In addition, the structure of the muscle and vascular tissue in the anus is very ingenious, and the coordination between them plays a good role in fixing the abdominal organs of the human body. Having no anus or poor anal function will bring a lot of inconvenience to people's lives.
