Treatment method: Clear away heat and relieve fire. Detoxify and reduce swelling.

Main prescription: Huanglian Jiedu Decoction with modifications.

If the patient has ulcer bleeding, add Herba Centipedes and Rhizoma Imperataes to stop the bleeding; if the patient has yin deficiency and severe internal fire, add Rhizoma Anemarrhenaes and Rhizoma Scrophulariaes to nourish yin and reduce fire; if the patient has dry and hard stool, add Rhubarb and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus to relieve constipation and reduce heat.
