What is muscle tremor

What is muscle tremor

What are muscle tremors? I believe that many people don’t know much about the concept of muscle tremor. In fact, muscle tremor refers to the rhythmic contraction and relaxation of muscles. Common diseases include encephalitis, arteriosclerosis, etc., and poisoning by certain chemical substances can also cause toxic effects of muscle tremor. There are many factors that cause muscle tremors. Today we will take a closer look at what is going on.

What causes muscle tremors ?

1. Physiological factors

Generally speaking, when people are very tired or mentally nervous, they are prone to muscle tremors.

2. Impact of Parkinson's disease

The muscle tremors caused by this disease usually start from the fingers and then slowly spread to the patient's lower limbs. Sometimes, patients not only experience tremors, but also symptoms such as encephalitis and body rigidity.

3. Age factor

I believe everyone knows that when we get older, some of our body functions will change. Therefore, it is also easy to cause muscle tremors. Tremors in the elderly are usually related to hardening of the cerebral arteries.

Initially, symptoms may only occur in elderly people when they are under emotional stress. As the disease progresses, the disease may also occur during quiet times.

4. Cerebellar disease

The muscle tremors caused by this factor mainly manifest in the upper limbs. Moreover, the speed of this vibration is not fast and there is no regular pattern. The closer you are to the affected area, the more noticeable the tremor will be.

5. Poisoning

When you drink too much, it can cause alcohol poisoning. At this time, the patient will experience tremors. When a person is at rest, their tremor may not be noticeable. However, tremors are very noticeable when the patient is emotionally unstable and behavior is uncontrolled.

Symptoms of muscle tremors

What symptoms will patients experience when muscle tremors occur?

(1) Tremor location

It usually starts from the distal end of one side of the upper limb, mainly with the thumb, index finger and middle finger, and manifests as movements of the fingers like rolling a ball or counting money. Then it gradually spreads to the ipsilateral lower limbs and contralateral limbs, and in the late stage it may affect the mandible, lips, tongue and head.

In the early stages of the disease, patients do not pay much attention to tremors, which often occur when fingers or limbs are in a certain position and disappear when the posture is changed.

Later, it develops into an involuntary tremor that only occurs when the limbs are still, such as when watching TV or talking to others. The limbs suddenly tremble involuntarily, and the tremor decreases or stops when changing position or moving, so it is called resting tremor. This is the most important feature of Parkinson's disease tremor.

Sometimes the tremor is more obvious in the lower limbs or more prominent in other parts of the body. In some patients, tremor appears late and is mainly characterized by rigidity, and is often misdiagnosed as hemiplegia.

(2) Tremor frequency

The tremor frequency of Parkinson's disease is mostly 4-8 times/second, which is generally slightly slower than simple tremor and slightly larger in amplitude, but faster in frequency and slightly smaller in amplitude than action tremor. This feature can also help us distinguish other diseases, such as those caused by chorea, cerebellar diseases, and hyperthyroidism.

(3) Tremor is fluctuating

That is, sometimes it is obvious, and sometimes it is alleviated or disappears. Tremors are obvious when people are nervous, emotionally excited, or starting to move. They are relieved during voluntary movements and disappear after people fall asleep.

(4) Effects of tremor on movement

When the tremor is mild, it may not affect motor function or the patient can take care of himself/herself; as the disease progresses, the tremor may affect some motor functions. For example, writing becomes increasingly difficult or even impossible, and the person cannot take care of himself.

Treatment of muscle tremors:

(1) Simple practice method (regardless of speed)

Just do it 100-300 times while sitting, standing or lying down. No matter how fast or slow you do it, as long as you persist, in a month your penis will be as hard as a rock. If you persist in it for your whole life, you will be like a virgin all your life, "galloping" on the "Only One" every day. This simple method can restore you to virgin status. Women can also restore their virginity by practicing this method.

(2) General practice method (slightly slower)

Just like self-controlling urination, gradually tighten the PC muscle, keep tightening it for 5 seconds, and then relax the PC muscle for 5 seconds. This completes one exercise. When practicing, start with 10 and gradually increase to 50. This is called a round. It is recommended to practice 2-3 rounds a day, that is, 100-150 tightening and relaxing movements.

PC muscle exercises can be done at any time because they only tighten and relax muscles that are invisible to others. You can do them while standing, sitting, or lying down.

Once you can comfortably do 100-300 contractions, it's important to establish a regular practice routine. With persistent practice, you will continue to reap the benefits and gain the basis for greater pleasure. A daily practice that can be done anywhere. Do more if you have time; do less if you don’t.

(3) Advanced practice method (slower speed)

Advanced practice methods can be very tiring, but the results will be much better. After practicing complex methods for a period of time, most people will return to simple methods. Simple methods are simple and effective.

The PC muscle is the one that controls urination. Ancient Chinese also called this exercise "ani levator", because obviously, when doing contraction exercises, the anus will become very tight.

Start with 10-20 contractions and see how it works. If you feel tired after doing 20 contractions, then you really need to practice harder. After doing 20 contractions, contract the PC muscle tightly again and maintain this position as long as possible, the longer the better. Due to the lack of PC muscle exercise, you will feel very tired at first, but after a period of continuous practice, you will be able to tightly contract the PC muscle to control the urge to ejaculate until the urge subsides.

Muscle tremor care:

1. Clothing

Choose clothes with zippers that are easy to put on and take off, and clothes that open at the front and do not need to be pulled over the head. Zippers and buttons can be replaced with nylon zippers. Try to wear shoes without laces, and avoid shoes with rubber or raw rubber soles, because when the shoes touch the ground, they may cause the patient to fall forward.

2. Bathing

Place a non-slip material such as a rubber mat in the bathtub or on the shower pool, and place a low stool in the bathtub so that the patient can sit and shower. Sponges with long handles, bathing gloves, etc. can help patients bathe. Use an electric razor for shaving and a paper or plastic cup for brushing your teeth.

3. Eating

Because the patient's muscles are not coordinated, do not urge the patient to eat or drink quickly. For cold drinks, you can use a flexible plastic straw, and for hot drinks, you can use a lightweight cup with a wide handle.
