Heat in the waist is a symptom

The waist is a very important part of our body. Many activities we do every day rely on the waist. Therefore, the waist is also a relatively vulnerable place. We must protect the waist in daily activities. Once there are some problems with the waist, it will have a great impact on physical health. Many people feel heat in their waist even when they do not have a fever. This phenomenon should be paid attention to as it may be caused by a disease.

Fever in the waist is a problem of lumbar muscle strain. Chronic lumbar muscle strain is often caused by multiple factors. For example, long-term physical labor or exercise can cause damage to the lumbar muscles due to excessive load on the waist. Fat people who lack physical exercise for a long time have their center of gravity shifted forward when standing, which can easily cause strain on the ligaments and muscles in the waist. Long-term exposure of the waist to wind and cold can also cause chronic stiffness and pain in the waist and back. If acute injuries are not handled properly or treated thoroughly, they may develop into chronic lumbar muscle strain. Aggravation after exertion is a characteristic of chronic lumbar muscle strain.

The harm of lumbar muscle strain

Lumbar disc herniation or lumbar stenosis

If patients with lumbar muscle strain suffer repeated attacks in the long run, they may develop more serious lumbar disc herniation or lumbar stenosis, which are the more serious complications of lumbar muscle strain.

Aseptic inflammation of lumbar myofascia

People who bend over for a long time or sit for a long time to work have their back muscles in a state of tension for a long time. After a long time, they will experience spasms, ischemia, edema, adhesions, etc. Some people call this aseptic inflammation.

Cumulative damage

If the ligaments of the waist muscles are damaged with great force, it will cause small-scale fiber rupture, bleeding and exudation. These tissues are susceptible to stretching and compressing the inherent nerve fibers, thus causing low back pain.

Acute lumbar sprain

When an acute lumbar sprain occurs and the acute treatment is not thorough, the damaged muscles, fascia, and ligaments are not completely repaired, which will produce more scars and adhesions, reduce lumbar function, and easily cause pain. Therefore, patients with lumbar muscle strain often feel weak in the waist, especially on rainy days.
