Can I eat mango if I am afraid of scarring?

Many people will wonder whether they can eat mangoes if they are afraid of leaving scars on their wounds. In fact, whether or not scars will be left has no direct relationship with eating fruits. Human skin is divided into the epidermis and dermis. If the wound is shallow and only affects the epidermis, it generally will not leave scars. If the wound is deep and only affects the dermis, it will leave scars. In addition, it is related to the individual's physique. If you have a scar-prone physique, you will easily get scars. Of course, fruits that are prone to allergies should not be eaten.

Generally, people with wounds should not eat fruits that are prone to allergies, such as mangoes and durian, and should also avoid eating fruits that are prone to causing heat, such as lychees.

1. Patients who are healing wounds should not eat soy sauce as it may cause scars on the wounds.

2. Patients with wound healing should not eat spicy and irritating foods, such as chili peppers. These foods can easily cause inflammation of the wound.

3. Patients whose wounds are healing should not eat seafood, such as hairtail, yellow croaker, pomfret, clam meat, shrimp, crab and other aquatic products. Most of them are cold and fishy in nature, which will affect the healing of wounds to a certain extent.

5. Patients with wound healing should not eat foods such as chicken heads, chicken wings, chicken feet, goose meat, pork heads, etc. These foods can easily cause liver fire, thus affecting wound healing.

6. Patients with wound healing should not eat edible fungi, such as mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, etc. These foods are mostly high-protein foods. Eating too much of them can easily cause liver fire. People who usually have symptoms such as headaches and dizziness should try to eat less of them. You can eat neutral fruits such as apples and bananas.

Once the wound begins to heal and the dressing is no longer needed, you can apply sunscreen to protect the new skin from the sun's rays. The ultraviolet rays in the sun will slow down the skin's recovery process. Make sure the wound is healing properly before removing the pad, as the pad can block ultraviolet rays from reaching the wound. Sunlight can also increase the amount of pigment in your skin, causing new skin to appear red or brown, making scars very noticeable once they appear.
