Can intravenous drip reduce swelling of hemorrhoids?

Can intravenous drip reduce swelling of hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are a disease with a relatively high incidence rate. It is also a disease that is difficult to treat and prone to recurrence. Infusion is a common treatment method in clinical medicine. Infusion can reduce swelling quickly, but it is not very effective for diseases like hemorrhoids. If you want to completely cure hemorrhoids, you can use surgery or medication to treat it, and you should also pay special attention to your diet.

1. Can intravenous drip reduce swelling in hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids cannot be cured by systemic medication. Generally speaking, for simple hemorrhoids with mild symptoms, some local medications (hemorrhoid cream, hemorrhoid suppositories, etc.) can be used to promote local blood circulation and shrink hemorrhoids. If the condition is serious (mixed internal and external hemorrhoids, or long-term attacks), simple local medication cannot solve the problem, and surgery, or laser, freezing and other treatments are required to remove the hemorrhoids.

2. Dietary conditioning plan for early hemorrhoids

Soft-shelled turtle replenishes qi and nourishes blood: Many patients with hemorrhoids will have symptoms of bleeding in the stool, and soft-shelled turtle contains the effect of replenishing qi and nourishing blood. It is a good conditioning method for some patients with long-term hemorrhoid bleeding and weak body and qi, and it has a certain relieving effect on hemorrhoids.

Walnuts nourish blood and moisten the intestines: Chinese walnuts are rich in nutrients, which can not only "replenish the kidneys and brain, and are beneficial to wisdom", but also have the functions of replenishing qi and blood, moistening dryness and resolving phlegm, moistening the intestines and promoting bowel movements, relieving swelling and disinfecting.

Bananas are good for moisturizing the intestines and promoting bowel movements: Bananas contain a natural antibiotic that effectively inhibits bacterial reproduction, increases the number of lactobacilli in the large intestine, promotes intestinal peristalsis, and helps with bowel movements and detoxification. They are a good natural laxative for people with hemorrhoids who have difficulty defecating.

3. Late surgical treatment of hemorrhoids

1. Traditional surgical treatment:

Mild hemorrhoids without obvious symptoms can be cured by diet adjustment and proper exercise. Hemorrhoids with obvious hemorrhoid symptoms require surgical treatment. The traditional surgical treatment method is to reposition the prolapsed anal cushion through surgery and preserve the normal tissue structure of the anal cushion as much as possible; traditional injection therapy is more effective for grade I and II bleeding internal hemorrhoids; the sclerosant is injected around the submucosal venous plexus to cause inflammatory reaction and fibrosis, thereby compressing the varicose veins and allowing the hemorrhoidal mucosa to fall off freely.

2. Minimally invasive surgery:

In recent years, minimally invasive surgery for hemorrhoids has become the first choice for many hemorrhoid patients because it can minimize surgical pain. The advantages of minimally invasive surgery are less trauma, less pain and faster recovery. The minimally invasive surgical treatment for hemorrhoids is PPH stapler hemorrhoidectomy, which is mainly suitable for prolapsed grade III-IV mixed hemorrhoids, annular hemorrhoids, and some grade II internal hemorrhoids with severe bleeding. The principle of PPH minimally invasive technology for the treatment of prolapsed hemorrhoids:

The mucosa and submucosal tissue of 2 to 3 cm at the lower end of the rectum are removed to quickly restore the normal tissue structure around the anus, that is, the anal cushions are returned to their original position; the removal of the submucosal tissue blocks the blood supply of the superior hemorrhoidal artery to the hemorrhoidal area, and the hemorrhoids will shrink naturally after the operation. Compared with traditional hemorrhoidectomy, PPH minimally invasive surgery has the advantages of shorter time, less postoperative pain, faster recovery and fewer complications, but the price of the equipment is relatively expensive compared with traditional surgery.
