(1) Cabernet Sauvignon

Origin: Bordeaux, France, California, USA, Australia, Chile, Italy Characteristics: thick skin, small grains and many seeds, high pigment, high acid, high tannin, rich and firm body, strong wine strength, the aroma of the wine is mainly black currant, with flavors of honeydew melon, licorice, smoked, caramel, green pepper, etc. The wine is usually aged in oak barrels and can be stored for a long time. This variety is the "king of red grape varieties" and has strong adaptability. It is suitable for planting all over the world and is often paired with Merlot when making wine.

(2) Merlot

Origin: Bordeaux, France, the United States, Italy

Characteristics: The most popular variety in Bordeaux, early maturing, high yield, larger fruit than Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine made from it has a prominent fruity aroma, less tannin, smooth texture, round and thick taste, and low acidity. The aroma is mainly violet and prune, with flavors of strawberry, chocolate and red fruit.

(3) Pinot Noir

Origin: Burgundy, France (most prominent), Champagne, France, New Zealand, the United States, Australia, South Africa, Germany Characteristics: Suitable for growing in cold areas, thin skin and easy to rot, low yield, relatively high soil requirements, so it is not widely planted. The wine produced has high acidity, fine tannins, good balance, elegant and aromatic when young, gentle and delicate with fruity aroma when mature. Romanee, the most expensive wine in the world? Romanee-Conti is made from Pinot Noir. At the same time, Pinot Noir is also an important red grape variety for blending champagne.
