What is the reason why sweat stains turn yellow

Yellowing of sweat stains is actually a common situation, and it is also relatively normal. Because there are many components in our sweat stains, and there will be some tissues that will appear yellow stains. There are many reasons for the yellowing of sweat stains, but many people do not know the specific reasons for the yellowing of sweat stains, or do not understand the reasons for this situation. So what is the reason for the yellowing of sweat stains?

Health managers remind you: This is because in addition to water, sweat also contains many metabolic substances, such as urea, lactic acid, amino acids, chloride, sodium, potassium ions, etc. Potassium chloride and sodium chloride are the same ingredients as the table salt we eat. Therefore, sweat has a salty taste. Salt water is naturally irritating to the eyes.

After people sweat, there will always be yellow sweat marks left. These scars are usually found in areas where sweat glands are concentrated, such as the armpits and navel. This is medically known as "chromhidrosis". The most common sweat marks are yellow, and a few also have brown or red stains. The sweat of chromhidrosis has no color originally, but after the sweat is secreted, it is decomposed by bacteria to produce colored substances. The process of bacterial decomposition takes place on the surface of human skin. Therefore, it looks like the stains on the clothes are sweat stains. If this kind of chromohidrosis is in the armpits.

Toothpaste: Use toothpaste containing whitening, brightening and cleansing ingredients. Use an unused toothbrush, squeeze about one centimeter of toothpaste onto the toothbrush, and gently scrub the sweat stains with the toothbrush. The sweat stains will be removed in a moment.

White vinegar: Add a few drops of white vinegar to clean water, soak clothes for ten minutes before washing, and rub off sweat marks.

Edible baking soda: Dissolve about 25 grams of baking soda in 500 grams of hot water, shake it thoroughly to dissolve it completely, and when the water temperature cools down to below 40 degrees (do not wash with hot water above 40 degrees), soak the sweat-stained clothes. You don’t even need detergent, and they will still be washed clean.

Salt: It is enough to add one or two ounces (50 grams) of salt to 1000 milliliters of clean water. Let the salt water dissolve and remove the protein in the sweat stains first, then rinse the salt water off the clothes with clean water, and then use laundry detergent to thoroughly wash away the grease and dirt particles that may exist in the sweat stains.

Wujijing: Look carefully in some daily necessities stores, it is very cheap, about 1 yuan per pack.
