Will eating flour make you fat?

1. Is it easy to gain weight by eating pasta?

When we cook rice, we need to add water, which contains no calories. Therefore, after being cooked into rice, the calories per 100 grams of cooked rice are reduced to about 120 calories. If you cook rice into porridge, you will need to add more water for each serving of rice. The porridge will have lower calories. It can be seen that unless oil-containing ingredients are added to rice, such as fried rice, rice is not a fattening food if consumed normally, and rice porridge is a low-energy food. However, this does not mean that eating pasta will make you fat. For example, noodles. Noodles are mostly made from durum wheat. Durum wheat is rich in nutrients. The noodles made from it absorb water strongly and have a strong sense of fullness. If you don’t add too much seasoning to the noodles, the calories in the noodles are not high and they are not likely to make you fat.

2. Eating more whole grains and pasta will not make you fat

White flour is too refined, eats too fast, is digested too quickly, and leaves a weak sense of fullness. Eating it frequently will make you fat. Whole grain noodles are rich in dietary fiber, have a strong sense of fullness, and can control blood sugar, making them an excellent choice as a staple food for weight loss.

3. Eat pasta at breakfast and lunch

Pasta mainly provides carbohydrates and energy for people. People are more active during the day and need to consume more calories. Eating pasta in the morning or at noon can provide the human body with sufficient energy and make people energetic. At night, people's activities decrease and the energy required also decreases. People need to control their carbohydrate intake and eat less or no pasta.

4. Use less seasoning when eating pasta

People like to dip noodles and dumplings in various seasonings when eating them. Seasonings can make pasta more delicious, but they also increase the calories of pasta. Use less salt and oil when making pasta, and don't fry it. When eating pasta, use less seasoning. This is both healthy and can prevent obesity.
