There are many kinds of orthopedic diseases, and many aspects of orthopedic diseases can only be diagnosed by taking X-rays. Current science and technology can use X-rays to see where the inside of the bone is damaged. For example, patients often feel that there is something under the right ribs, and they feel pain when touched. At this time, they need to go to the hospital to see a doctor and take an X-ray to see what is under the right ribs? 1. Costochondritis refers to chronic nonspecific inflammation occurring in the costal cartilage. Also known as non-suppurative costochondritis and costal cartilage hyperplasia. The cause of the disease is unknown, but it is generally believed to be related to strain or trauma. The disease may occur due to acute damage to the costochondral joint cartilage caused by sudden twisting or chest compression, or viral infection caused by chronic strain or colds, which leads to edema and thickening of the costochondral joint surface cartilage and aseptic inflammatory reaction. The lesions are mostly located at the 2nd to 5th costal cartilages in the chest, with the 2nd and 3rd costal cartilages being the most common. The lesions may also invade the manubrium sternum, the inner side of the clavicle and the anterior and inferior costal cartilages. Dull or sharp pain in the chest at the affected costal cartilage There is tenderness and swelling. The pain worsens when taking a deep breath, coughing or moving the affected upper limb, and sometimes radiates to the shoulder or back. Can't even raise my arms. However, there is no change in the local skin; the pain varies in severity and often lingers, affecting the patient's work and study. The swollen rib cartilage may even persist for months or years after the pain disappears. 2. Symptoms of rib fracture: chest pain, pain in the injured area, aggravated by deep breathing, coughing or changing body position; hemoptysis, blood in sputum several days after injury, indicating lung damage; shallow and rapid breathing, often without dyspnea, and cyanosis; tenderness and squeezing pain at the fracture site, and the fracture ends or bone friction can be touched; corresponding symptoms and signs when combined with pneumothorax, hemothorax or hemopneumothorax; abnormal respiratory movements, which are multiple rib fractures. Sometimes the pain recurs after exertion. The onset may be acute or slow. Acute cases may occur suddenly, with a feeling of stabbing, throbbing or soreness in the chest; insidious cases may develop slowly, causing the junction of the ribs and costal cartilage to become arched, swollen, and dull pain, sometimes radiating to the shoulders, back, armpits, neck and chest, and sometimes chest tightness and shortness of breath. The pain is relieved by resting or lying on the side, but worsens with deep breathing, coughing, lying flat, chest straightening and fatigue. Chest X-rays may show signs of rib fractures and can also provide information about the condition of the pleural cavity and lungs. 3. The organs under the left ribs are mainly the lungs, spleen, pancreas, splenic flexure of the colon, etc. Pain under the left ribs is mostly caused by bloating and spasm of the splenic flexure of the colon, which is called splenic flexure syndrome. The main symptoms of this disease are pain and discomfort in the lower left chest or upper left abdomen. The symptoms can be mild or severe, sudden or slow, and last from several minutes to several hours. The pathogenesis is caused by colon dysfunction, which is a functional disease, and no organic lesions were found during examination. If necessary, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, liver, spleen and pancreas ultrasound and other related examinations should be performed. |
