The skin around the nails becomes hard and cracks

The hardening and cracking of the skin around the nails is usually caused by the thickening of the cuticle, and the pain caused is related to the degree of cracking. The fingers are connected to the heart. Some patients’ finger conditions are very serious, which has a great impact on their normal functions. To solve the problem of hardening and cracking of the skin around the nails, the key is to deal with the thickened cuticle, take good care of the hands, and avoid causing lasting damage.

repair

After the stratum corneum falls off automatically or artificially, the epidermis will rapidly proliferate keratinocytes and convert them into dead anucleated keratinocytes and transport them to the skin surface. The total process takes about 14 days. Excessive exfoliation will cause the stratum corneum to become very thin, the skin to be sensitive, and in severe cases, red blood streaks will appear. If it is caused simply by using exfoliating products, it will heal on its own after stopping use. The keratin in the red blood vessels is no longer there and has been destroyed. There are two types of red blood: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous red blood streaks are caused by products containing hormones, antibiotics, fruit acids and other ingredients.

Daily prevention of red blood streak skin:

1. Strengthen skin exercise, wash your face with warm water frequently to increase skin tolerance;

2. Try not to use cosmetics containing heavy metals to avoid pigmentation and toxins remaining on the epidermis;

3. Try not to do some laser beauty projects and do not damage the skin's stratum corneum;

4. Avoid using corticosteroid ointments for local skin allergies;

5. Open windows more often to ventilate and reduce skin irritation;

6. Massage your face regularly to promote blood flow and help enhance the elasticity of capillary walls;

7. Pay attention to moisturizing your skin and prevent it from drying out and peeling;

8. Avoid spicy food, tobacco, alcohol, etc.

Exfoliation Method

(1) Apply an appropriate amount of exfoliating product to your thoroughly cleansed face, and then use your fingertips to slide the product around your face in circular motions.

(2) Massage the oily T-zone, sides of the nose, and around the lips in particular to ensure that the areas where dirt easily accumulates are thoroughly cleaned.

(3) Rinse your face with plenty of clean water to remove all the dirt and dead skin cells on your face, revealing fair and radiant skin.

(4) Then use a cotton pad soaked in a large amount of lotion to gently pat your facial skin. This will make the skin texture more refined and the pores smaller and less visible.
