2. Pathological eyelid edema : Pathological eyelid edema is divided into inflammatory eyelid edema and non-inflammatory eyelid edema. In addition to eyelid edema, the former also has local redness, heat, pain and other symptoms. The causes include acute eyelid inflammation, eyelid trauma, or periocular inflammation. Most of the latter do not have symptoms such as local redness, heat, and swelling. Common causes are allergic diseases or allergies to eye drops, heart disease, hypothyroidism, acute and chronic nephritis, and idiopathic neurovascular eyelid edema.

Eye massage to reduce swelling. Continue to give your eyes extra care by using a cotton swab dipped in diluted saline to help relieve swelling of the skin around your eyes.

1. Massage the upper eyelid! Place the cotton swab horizontally on the skin of the upper eyelid, along the eyelid groove, starting from the inside along an "S" shape, and apply it to the temple with a little force to drain excess moisture from the upper eyelid.

2. Gently press the eye bags! With the cotton swab head facing up, apply pressure from the inner corner of the eye along the eyelash root to the outside, while pressing and wiping. The force should be gentle and even, and wipe in one go to the temple. This is the key to eliminating eye bags.

3. Use massage to consolidate the swelling-reducing effect! Use the middle finger and ring finger to pull back from the inner side of the upper eyelid and the inner side of the lower eyelid respectively, bring them together at the outer corner of the eye, and pull them through the temple to the cheek to completely eliminate the swelling.
