Diagnosis

1. It often occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. There are more women than men.

2. The patient feels as if there are insects gnawing at the brain or making noises, often accompanied by tinnitus, soreness in waist and knees, dizziness and other symptoms.

3. There are usually no special findings during the examination.

Differential Diagnosis

1. Mental fatigue: There may be symptoms such as tinnitus, but the main manifestations are fatigue, insomnia, forgetfulness, dizziness and pain.

2. Ear diseases: There are often symptoms such as tinnitus, but it is a ringing in the ear rather than in the brain. Ear examination can usually reveal lesions.

Syndrome differentiation and treatment

1. Kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency syndrome: tinnitus, tinnitus, forgetfulness, limb weakness, pain in waist and knees, or low sperm count, low libido, pale tongue, and weak pulse. Nourishes the kidneys and strengthens the marrow. Treatment recipe: A-208.

Other treatments
