Urinary tract diseases are very common in life and are very popular among people with poor hygiene conditions. Most of them are symptoms of urinary tract infection, which brings many discomforts to patients. Severe conditions cause patients to suffer from serious viral transfer infection. Therefore, we must pay attention to urinary tract health. Urinary tract irritation syndrome is one of the more popular ones. Let’s take a look at what urinary tract irritation syndrome means? Urinary tract irritation symptoms include frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. Frequent urination refers to a significant increase in the number of urinations per unit time. Urinary urgency refers to the need to urinate as soon as one feels the urge to urinate and the inability to control it. Dysuria refers to the pain or burning sensation caused by irritation to the bladder area and urethra during urination. Urethral syndrome is a group of symptoms, not a specific disease. Clinically, middle-aged women often experience urinary tract irritation symptoms, but no bacteria can be found in urine culture. While actively treating the primary disease, use medication to relieve symptoms of urinary tract irritation. Causes and common diseases In about half of the patients, bacteria were found in the urine after multiple cultures, including Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, and Streptococcus faecalis. "Urethra syndrome" is also called "aseptic cystitis" and is caused by non-infectious causes, such as urethral injury during sexual intercourse, deformation of vaginal tissue in the bladder triangle, drug allergy, urethral bladder neck obstruction, chemical stimulation, emotional tension, and excessive drinking of tea or coffee. Common diseases include: 1. Urinary tract infection: It is the main disease that causes urinary tract irritation symptoms. 2. Renal tuberculosis: In the early stage of urinary tract irritation, frequent urination occurs due to bladder tuberculosis. In the late stage, due to fibrosis of the bladder wall and reduced capacity, urinary tract irritation symptoms become more obvious. 3. Compression by bladder tumors and tumors near the bladder. examine 1. Physical examination Check the patient's mental and nutritional status, whether the body temperature is elevated, whether there is tenderness or percussion pain in the kidney area, whether there are tender points in the ureter, whether there is redness or swelling at the urethral opening, etc. 2. Laboratory examination Routine urine examination to check for the presence of leukocytosis (pyuria), hematuria, etc. Whether the results of urine bacterial microscopy and quantitative culture are significant bacteriuria. 3. Other examinations When urinary tract infection is suspected, urine culture should be performed by suprapubic bladder puncture or clean midstream urine culture for bacterial colony count. When STD urethritis is suspected, a sample of secretions should be collected for pathogen smear examination (such as immunofluorescence examination for chlamydia and Gram staining for gonococci) or culture. When renal tuberculosis is suspected, morning urine should be collected to check for tuberculosis bacteria, and pyelography and cystoscopy should be performed. |
