What to do if your eyes get inflamed after wearing cosmetic contact lenses

Wearing colored contact lenses is very popular in contemporary society, and many people wear them. However, improper care and wearing methods may cause eye inflammation. There are many reasons for eye inflammation, such as poor quality of contact lenses, incorrect wearing methods, long-term wearing and unhygienic wearing, etc., which can cause eye inflammation. No matter what causes the eye inflammation, it is important to first understand the cause of the condition and then take corresponding measures.

Methods and steps:

1. If your eyes become inflamed after wearing cosmetic contact lenses, it may be because you are wearing low-quality cosmetic contact lenses. Wearing inferior cosmetic contact lenses can cause eye inflammation or even worse damage. This is because the manufacturing materials and manufacturing technology of inferior products are very low, so they are very harmful to the eyes.

2. Inflammation of the eyes may be caused by improper wearing of contact lenses. For example, wearing the contact lenses for too long every day, or sleeping with them on.

3. Long-term wearing of cosmetic contact lenses that are not suitable for your eyes can also cause inflammation, because if the cosmetic contact lenses and cornea cannot fit perfectly, it is easy for the cornea and lenses to rub against each other, which can easily cause eye infection over time. Inappropriate cosmetic contact lenses can also affect the corneal oxygen permeability, preventing the cornea from absorbing enough oxygen, which can easily lead to symptoms such as corneal hypoxia.

How to wear contact lenses correctly:

1. After washing your hands, check whether there is any abnormality in the lenses before wearing them. In particular, check the front and back of the lens to see if they are reversed.

2. If the lens is folded or stuck to your hand, sprinkle fresh saline on the lens and gently soften it with your hand. If this still doesn't work, soak the lens in saline until it returns to its original shape. Once it's glued, don't touch it. Just soak it in salt water overnight and it will return to its original state.

3. Place the contact lens on the tip of your right index finger, look at the front of the lens and use the middle finger of your left hand to gently open the upper eyelid, then use the hand holding the lens to gently open the lower eyelid. At this time, the eyeball is exposed. At this time, gently place the lens in the middle of the eye. When the lens touches your eyeball, look down and let go of your hand so that the lens can be put into the correct position.
