How to prevent liver disease

How to prevent liver disease

There are many types of liver disease, all of which may exist inside the human body. This disease is generally treatable, and it affects some physiological mechanisms. If not treated, it will cause serious consequences. In fact, liver disease can be prevented, but most people don’t know how to prevent it. So how to prevent the occurrence of liver disease?

The number of people suffering from liver disease has increased dramatically, a considerable number of which are caused by alcohol, malnutrition or obesity. The cause of this type of liver disease is clear, but it is not easy to treat.

Alcohol is the liver's enemy, an important cause of fatty liver disease, and one of the culprits of liver cirrhosis. Most of the alcohol that people drink is absorbed in the stomach, then enters the liver and turns into water and carbon dioxide. Drinking too much alcohol will inevitably increase the burden on the liver. At the same time, it can also increase the neutral fat in the liver and gradually lead to fatty liver. In people with weak livers, fat accumulation promotes cirrhosis.

Generally speaking, among people who drink alcohol frequently, the prevalence of fatty liver is 30-50%, and the prevalence of liver cirrhosis is 10%. If you drink alcohol for 10 years in a row, drinking 500 grams of alcohol a day, you may get cirrhosis of the liver.

1. You must eat food when drinking. Because this lacks the protein and vitamins that can mitigate the stimulation of alcohol. Alcohol is acidic, so it is best to eat more alkaline vegetables, soy products or fish when drinking, which can neutralize the acidity and reduce the burden on the liver.

2. Don’t drink water after drinking alcohol. It is easy to feel thirsty after drinking. At this time, many people are accustomed to drinking water cup by cup, which is very harmful to the body. So what should we do? Eat fruit! This can neutralize the acidity, and the sugar in the fruit can burn the alcohol in the body, thereby reducing the toxicity of alcohol to the liver.

3. If there is no delicious food or fruit, it is best not to drink alcohol. If you drink, please take a few vitamin E pills after drinking.

In addition, many foods can enhance and improve liver function and treat some liver diseases. For example, tomatoes, brewer's yeast, ginseng, peach kernels, wolfberries, etc.
