There are different ways to clean suede, which can generally be divided into machine washing and hand washing. If the washing machine cannot meet the requirements of the material, it is not recommended to wash it. It is recommended to wash it by hand, which will be better because you can see the changes in the material by hand washing. Don't worry, the treatment method is also determined according to different stains. Leather clothing cleaning is divided into two types according to different washing methods: machine washing and hand washing; According to the nature of washing, it is divided into dry cleaning and wet cleaning. Machine washing is mainly done through a leather dry cleaning machine, while hand washing requires the use of washing tools and washing techniques. Machine washing usually uses tetrachloroethylene solvent (there are also petroleum and fluorine solvents) and low-temperature immersion washing. Since machine washing is restricted by the equipment conditions of many laundries, most medium and small laundries in my country currently use manual cleaning. The following is a brief introduction to some practical methods of manual cleaning for reference only. Main washing tools: short-bristle brush, brown-bristle brush, sponge, plastic cleaning ball, towel, cotton ball, washbasin, washbasin, air spray gun, portrait inflatable model, etc. Main cleaning materials: gasoline, methanol (alcohol), tetrachloroethylene, hydroxide (ammonia water), detergent, liquid soap, hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide), sodium chloride (salt), alum, sodium sulfate (nitrate injection), vinegar essence, etc. 1. Cleaning of glossy leather 1. Small area oil pollution treatment Washing solvent: >90# gasoline or tetrachloroethylene. Washing method: Lay the leather jacket flat on the washboard, use a sponge or cotton ball dipped in an appropriate amount of solvent to scrub the oily parts of the leather jacket. After the oil is removed, use a towel dipped in 40-50 degrees Celsius hot water to slightly moisten the scrubbed parts, and place in a ventilated and cool place to dry. 2. Large area oil pollution treatment Washing solution: Liquid A: 95% alcohol, 25% ammonia water, ratio 1:1. Liquid B: 25% ammonia, softener, water, ratio 1:1:1 Washing method: Lay the leather jacket flat on the washing table, use a short-bristled brush dipped in Liquid A to pre-wash by brushing, wipe with a towel while brushing to absorb dirt and dirty liquid. After the oil is removed, dip in Liquid B for a second wash (same method as above), clean the surface with a towel, and place in a ventilated and cool place to dry. 3. Leather color gloss aging treatment Washing solution: Liquid A: detergent, water, ratio 1:400, concentration 0.25%-0.3%, water temperature 35-40℃. Liquid B: brightener, lubricant, water, ratio 1:1:4 Washing method: Lay the leather jacket flat on the washing table, gently scrub it with a brown-bristle brush dipped in Liquid A, and wipe it clean with a towel while scrubbing. After the oil stains are removed, use a sponge soaked in Liquid B to scrub the leather surface to soften it. Let it stand for 15 minutes, clean the surface with a towel, and place it in a ventilated, cool place to dry. |
