When I'm sad, my chest aches

We all encounter some sad things in our daily lives. In addition to being affected emotionally, our bodies will also experience some changes. For example, some people feel heartache, discomfort, and even chest soreness. The pain in the chest when you are sad is not necessarily caused by a real organic disease, especially if it does not occur often, there is no need to worry.

It may not be related to heart disease. It may be that when crying, the breathing speeds up and the respiratory tract spasms, causing temporary hypoxia and pain.

Common causes of heart pain

Caused by psychological suggestion. Many patients, after learning that they have a certain disease, always feel uncomfortable here and there, and always feel that they have symptoms of these diseases. This can be said to be a psychological suggestion or a mental illness.

Pulled chest muscles. This is usually caused by excessive labor or lifting excessive weights. The chest pain caused by this situation is not a big problem. You just need to rest and be careful not to lift excessive weights.

Caused by gastrointestinal diseases. If you experience chest, abdominal, or heart pain, you should first undergo a gastroscopy to check if you have stomach problems. Stomach pain caused by peptic ulcers, reflux gastritis, and gastric spasm can sometimes radiate to the chest and abdomen, causing chest pain symptoms.

Costochondritis causes: Costochondritis is a common disease. The most common clinical condition is nonspecific costochondritis. The main symptoms are chest pain (above the breast), occasional shoulder blade and back pain, and sometimes pain in the above-mentioned areas when breathing. It is one of the more common chest wall pain diseases.

Caused by rib fractures. If you have a rib fracture, the first thing you will feel is obvious pain. It will hurt whether you are quiet or exercising, but the pain is more obvious during exercise. Secondly, when a bone is broken, there will be a feeling of chest tightness and sometimes swelling.

Caused by other diseases. It is common in rib neuralgia, heart disease, lung disease and liver disease. Speaking of liver disease, it involves hepatitis B. As we all know, hepatitis B patients often suffer from liver damage. Liver damage can cause lesions in the liver and surrounding organs, which will involve the liver capsule. There are nerves on the liver capsule, which may extend to the chest and cause chest pain, mostly concentrated on the right side of the body.
