Does a household induction cooker emit a lot of radiation?

Induction cookers are a must-have in our kitchens and can bring a lot of convenience to our lives. In fact, induction cookers also have radiation problems, but it is not to the point where you cannot use them, so there is no need to worry too much when using them.

1. Hazards of radiation from induction cookers

Since there are special standards to limit the upper limit of radiation, it means that if the human body is exposed to too much electromagnetic radiation, it will have a certain impact on people. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) and ICNIRP have clearly clarified that the electromagnetic radiation that everyone is worried about, has no direct cause and effect on reproductive dysfunction, immune system, neurological diseases, etc.

The impact of electromagnetic radiation on men is slightly greater, but it is not as serious as rumored to affect the male reproductive system. Male reproductive cells and sperm are relatively sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, long-term excessive and strong absorption of electromagnetic radiation may reduce sperm quality.

2. Clearing up misunderstandings

The hidden concern about induction cooker radiation has always been with us. Sometimes, even if official agencies and the media say that the radiation from induction cookers is not as terrible as everyone imagines, people will still be frightened and will still listen to and look for methods everywhere, hoping to reduce the radiation from induction cookers. In fact, many methods are wrong practices that have no effect.

3. Water can reduce the radiation of induction cooker

A few years ago, some "experts" gave people advice online, saying that water is the best medium for absorbing electromagnetic waves, and that it must be done in plastic bottles or glass bottles, and never in metal containers. It is believed that water can reduce electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, many people put several basins of water around the induction cooker to absorb radiation when cooking.

However, according to the results of experimental tests, using water to absorb electromagnetic radiation is completely useless and will not reduce the radiation of the induction cooker at all. If water can really absorb the radiation from induction cookers, then when people use induction cookers to boil water or cook noodles, wouldn't that actually gather a lot of radiation? The food cooked in this way would be unpleasant to people if they eat it.
