What are the symptoms of scabies during the incubation period

Scabies is a disease that causes unbearable itching in the affected area. Moreover, scabies is a contagious disease. Once one person is infected, it is very likely that the whole family will be infected with the disease. Generally speaking, scabies has an incubation period. It would be very easy if we could detect scabies during its incubation period and treat it. So, what are the symptoms during the incubation period of scabies that allow us to identify it?

Some studies have shown that the incubation period of scabies is 2 to 6 cycles; in fact, most cases develop within 2 weeks. It occurs due to contact with scabies patients, such as being in the same room, or sleeping in the bed of a scabies patient, etc. Some people may also be infected by bathing in a bathhouse or rubbing their backs. Bathing in a bathhouse is the most common reason for infection.

The incidence of scabies is related to immunity. Adult scabies is more common above the scalp and generally does not spread to the face. Infants and young children can be infected all over the body, including the face and scalp, and the infection is very serious.

Adults with serious diseases and poor immunity can also be infected systemically; for example, those with severe tuberculosis who are severely weakened often develop rashes all over their bodies; such cases are more common among homeless people;

As long as the conditions for the disease are met, everyone will be infected with scabies; no one is completely immune to scabies; however, scabies can only live in the skin and muscles, not in fat, so most women have milder scabies than men; scabies in fat people is not as serious as in thin people; but everyone will have it;

Scabies have strong survival ability and can survive for 2-3 days after leaving the human body. Therefore, when handling large items such as quilts, it is generally recommended to dry them in the sun for 4 days, so that the scabies that have fallen on the quilts and sofa cushions can be "starved to death";

Scabies mites can still lay eggs and hatch after leaving the host. It usually takes 10 to 14 days for the eggs to develop into adults. Therefore, quilts that cannot be dried in the sun in winter are generally recommended to be left for more than half a month before being used again. It is better to dry them in the sun.

Cats, dogs and other animals can also be infected with scabies; therefore, if scabies has been transmitted at home, if there are cats, dogs and other pets at home, they should also be treated with medication; bathing with medication is the best;
