Can I run to build muscle?

Nowadays people attach great importance to their physical health, especially some people like fitness because fitness can increase body muscles. Everyone wants to have a good figure, so if you want to gain muscle, there are many ways to do it. People just need to choose the method they like or the method that suits them to build muscle. Running is something people do often, but can you run to build muscle?

Running can increase your endurance, remove excess fat, and can be used as an auxiliary project for muscle growth. It is very beneficial for muscle growth. If you really want to increase muscle, you also need high-intensity, targeted fitness and a proper diet. The following are effective ways to gain muscle.

1. Limit aerobic exercise other than strength training to 3 times a week, 30 minutes each time. This keeps your cardiovascular system healthy without causing possible muscle loss. The two best forms of aerobic exercise include rowing and any repeated movements that vary in speed.

2. In order to maximize muscle development, dietary calorie intake should not be restricted during the muscle growth stage, because muscle growth is only possible when the body is in a state of positive balance.

3. In addition, try to avoid scheduling strength training and running on the same day, because running consumes a lot of calories, making it impossible for muscles to grow. When the body is in a state of energy "negative balance", muscles will be consumed as energy first, followed by fat. If you must do both strength training and aerobic exercise on the same day, at least do strength training first so that your muscles can be fully stimulated when your physical strength and energy are at their peak.

As muscle mass increases, the body's metabolic rate will also increase, which will be more conducive to the consumption of body fat.
