In today's society, more and more people suffer from thyroid enchantment, which is a problem that cannot be ignored. It is often seen in complications of various thyroid-related diseases, and in severe cases it can also turn into cancer. However, the clinical diagnosis of tiny thyroid nodules is somewhat troublesome. The most common method is to puncture cell tissue to perform thyroid pathology examination, but the risks and puncture are prohibitive for patients, so more patients will choose thyroid ultrasound angiography. The incidence of thyroid nodules is increasing day by day. The characteristics of their occurrence are: they can be single or multiple. The incidence of multiple nodules is generally higher than that of single nodules, but the incidence of thyroid cancer in single nodules is higher. Thyroid nodules are complicated by various thyroid diseases, such as simple goiter, thyroiditis, thyroid tumors, etc., and can be clinically divided into benign and malignant. However, the diagnosis of tiny thyroid nodules is often difficult in clinical practice. Currently, medical guidelines and consensus recommend thyroid fine needle aspiration cytological histopathological examination for preoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules. However, some patients are afraid of the puncture and are concerned about the risks involved, and often cannot accept it. Now let me introduce another diagnostic tool for thyroid nodules - thyroid ultrasound angiography. Thyroid ultrasound angiography is a new technology based on color ultrasound that uses intravenous injection of contrast agents to dynamically observe changes in thyroid nodules. It has been successfully carried out in Xiaogan Central Hospital and has a very high diagnostic success rate. The principle is to use contrast agents to enhance backscattered echoes, thereby significantly improving the resolution, sensitivity and specificity of ultrasonic diagnosis. With the improvement of instrument performance and the emergence of new acoustic contrast agents, ultrasound contrast imaging can effectively enhance the two-dimensional ultrasound images and blood flow Doppler signals of solid organs such as the myocardium, liver, kidney, brain, and thyroid gland, reflect and observe the blood perfusion of normal and diseased tissues, and has now become a very important and promising development direction for ultrasound diagnosis. Some people regard it as the third revolution after two-dimensional ultrasound, Doppler and color blood flow imaging. On the basis of routine ultrasound examination, 1.5-2ml of ultrasound contrast agent is injected intravenously to distinguish between benign and malignant lesions based on the difference in nodule enhancement patterns. The whole examination process is quite short and can be completed in about a few minutes. It is a new imaging technology that is non-invasive, non-ionizing radiation, safe, fast, and has extremely high diagnostic accuracy. Therefore, for some patients with tiny thyroid nodules, ultrasound angiography can greatly improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis and reduce patients' fear. |
