Methods for deodorizing rotten food in the refrigerator

After using the refrigerator for a long time, a strange smell will appear in it, which makes people feel very uncomfortable. This will also affect the shelf life of the food inside. Therefore, the refrigerator should be deodorized in time. There are many ways to deodorize the refrigerator. For example, you can use baking soda to deodorize. If you have orange peels or grapefruit peels, you can also put them in the refrigerator, which can achieve a good deodorizing effect.

Methods for deodorizing rotten food in refrigerator

1. To remove odor with medical stone, take 500 grams of medical stone, sift out the powder and put it into a sandbag. Put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and the odor will be removed. 2. To remove odors, put the vinegar in an open cup and put it in the refrigerator. The deodorizing effect will be very good.

3. Baking soda to remove odors: Take 500 grams of baking soda and divide it into two wide-mouth glass bottles. Remember not to cover the bottle caps and place them on the upper and lower layers of the refrigerator. After 24 hours, the odor in the refrigerator can be better removed.

4. Use 1 bowl of rice wine to remove odors. Place it on the bottom layer of the refrigerator. Generally, the odor can be removed in 3 days.

5. To remove odors with sandalwood soap, we can put a sandalwood soap without wrapping paper in the refrigerator and let it come into direct contact with the air in the refrigerator. This will easily remove odors. However, it should be noted that cooked food in the refrigerator must be served to minimize contact with the smell of sandalwood soap.

Why does the refrigerator have a strange smell? Over time, when food spoils and rots, it will produce a disgusting smell. In addition, food, whether cooked or raw, will have its own smell. If it is placed in the refrigerator without being covered or wrapped, and the refrigerator itself is not breathable, the smell of the food will easily spread. Although the refrigerator is a low-temperature environment, it is not a "safe" after all. It simply reduces the activity of bacteria and delays food oxidation through the low-temperature environment. Therefore, once food that has been stored in the refrigerator for a long time oxidizes, deteriorates or even rots, an unpleasant odor will be produced in the refrigerator.
