Is there any self-treatment for abdominal adhesion

Abdominal adhesions are not unfamiliar to many people. When this happens, it is mostly due to some sequelae caused by improper surgery. The problem of abdominal adhesion is relatively serious. If it continues for a long time, it will cause great harm to people's bodies and will also have very obvious adverse reactions, making people feel very uncomfortable. Is there any self-treatment for abdominal adhesion? Learn more.

1. Abdominal adhesions

Intraperitoneal adhesions are congenital or post-traumatic scar adhesions between mutually free peritoneal surfaces, usually caused by peritoneal damage and abnormal scar tissue caused by surgical intervention. The formation of abdominal adhesions is the abnormal adhesion between the peritoneum, which can be congenital or caused by acquired trauma.

2. Note

The most common type of abdominal adhesion is adhesion to the abdominal wall surgical incision. The incisions for appendectomy and gynecological surgeries are located low, and the intestines are easily affected by gravity and fall into the wound, so the probability of adhesion is high. This type of adhesion to the abdominal wall is called parietal adhesion, while adhesions between the intestine, omentum, and internal organs are called visceral adhesions. Since abdominal adhesions are mostly small intestinal adhesions, which mainly affect the movement of the intestines and cause symptoms, postoperative intestinal adhesions are a more common term for abdominal adhesions.

3. Hysteroscopy

The clinical application of hysteroscopy can not only determine the degree and type of adhesions, but also determine the toughness of adhesions. Membranous adhesions and fibromuscular adhesions can be separated under hysteroscopy or removed with surgical scissors; while dense connective tissue-like adhesions require electroresection under B-ultrasound monitoring, followed by placement of an intrauterine contraceptive device to prevent re-adhesion, and continuous administration of estrogen and progesterone to promote endometrial growth. It helps patients to resume menstruation and some of them can become pregnant again.
