The order of isolation, sunscreen and foundation

Isolation and sunscreen foundation are relatively special cosmetics. All three of them play a particularly important role in makeup. Without these three, the entire makeup process cannot be called makeup, and it will not look beautiful. We all know that makeup is particular, and their order is different, including the order of isolation and sunscreen foundation. What is the order of applying isolation, sunscreen and foundation?

  Apply primer first, then sunscreen, and finally foundation.

The order of applying skin care products should follow the principle of small molecules to large molecules. From the appearance, it should be applied according to the thickness of the skin care products, from thin to thick.

Sunscreen is different from isolation cream. Isolation cream can even out skin tone and isolate dust, while sunscreen mainly prevents damage from ultraviolet light. The molecules of sunscreen are larger, so apply isolation cream first and then sunscreen. At present, many products on the market include the functions of isolation and sun protection, which is two-in-one and more convenient.

The correct order for using skin care products is generally: facial cleanser - toner - eye cream - essence - lotion - primer - sunscreen - foundation.

If you sweat after putting on makeup and need to reapply sunscreen, you can choose powder or foundation with an SPF.

If you must use primer or foundation, you should prioritize applying sunscreen and then consider the subsequent makeup.

However, applying subsequent products may damage the sunscreen film, so do not rub it too hard, and it is best to ensure a certain time interval. This ensures the effective use of sunscreen products and avoids rubbing mud.

Finally, it is recommended that you only choose one between primer or foundation and BB cream after applying sunscreen, and do not apply too many layers.

  2How to reapply sunscreen?

Be sure to reapply sunscreen, generally once every two hours is appropriate. There are two situations here: with makeup and without makeup.

   If you have makeup on and do not choose to remove makeup, you can do this:

1. Use a wet tissue to wipe off excess oil, then wipe off the smudged makeup - under the eyes, wings of the nose, and around the lips, these areas are most likely to lose makeup and smudge.

2. Reapply sunscreen, be sure to pat or push from the inside out, rather than rubbing in circles ← This is the correct way to apply sunscreen.

3. Apply foundation to the areas where makeup has come off. If possible, apply a layer of loose powder to make the makeup effect better.

   If you don’t wear makeup, it’s much easier to reapply sunscreen:

1. Use wet tissues or soaked cotton pads to wipe off excess oil and sunscreen on your face. This will not only make you feel more comfortable, but also reduce the chance of clogged pores.

2. Depending on the needs of your skin and environment, apply moisturizing lotion or oil-control lotion.

3. Reapply sunscreen.

Supplement: Sunscreen spray is very convenient and gives a cool feeling when used. However, it is also recommended that you wipe off the sweat and oil before spraying. If your face is sticky, no matter how good the sunscreen spray is, it will not feel comfortable.
