How do beginners wear contact lenses

How do beginners wear contact lenses

When we are taking pictures or doing some sports, we often feel that wearing glasses is very inconvenient. Many people choose to wear contact lenses at this time. At the same time, there are also many girls who love beauty like to wear colored contact lenses. Many beginners do not know how to wear contact lenses, and are afraid of wearing them upside down or improperly, which may hurt their eyes. So here we will give you some detailed knowledge about how beginners can wear contact lenses.

Steps to removing contact lenses

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and make sure they are dry.

2. Use the middle fingers of both hands to lightly press between the upper and lower eyelashes.

3. Look forward with big eyes.

4. Spread your thumb and index finger in an inverted eight shape with a width of about 1 cm between the fingertips.

5. Press lightly on the lower edge of the black pupil (close to the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions).

6. Keep your thumb and index finger in an inverted figure eight shape and press lightly, then use any of the following methods.

① Slide your fingertips down to the white of the eye.

② Press with your fingertips and look up (the lens will naturally move to the white of the eye. Remember: do not remove the lens in the center of the eyeball to protect the cornea).

7. Use the tips of your thumb and index finger to pinch off the lens (Remember: do not pinch it off with your fingernails, always use the tips of your fingertips. Protecting your eyes is the most important thing) .

Steps to wearing contact lenses

1. Clean your hands to ensure hygiene and safety. The biggest enemy of wearing contact lenses is safety and hygiene issues. If you are not careful, it will cause discomfort when wearing, and even worse, it may cause eye inflammation, keratitis, etc.! Therefore, you must clean your hands (it is best to cut the nails of the index finger that is used to wear contact lenses short and wear them healthily), and keep your hands dry with a towel or dryer.

2. Distinguish the front and back of the lens. Take out the lens, place it on the tip of your index finger, and carefully distinguish the front and back. If the front and back cannot be distinguished correctly, it is very likely to cause a foreign body sensation when wearing it, as well as blurred vision, unclear vision and other symptoms!

3. Use your other hand to pull open the base of your eyelid, look down, and then place your other hand close to your eyeball. Do not blink at this time, and gently place the contact lens on your eye.

4. This is also the most important step. At this time, the contact lenses can basically absorb your eyeballs, but if you are not careful, the lenses will fall out. This is also the main reason why you cannot wear contact lenses. What we need to do now is to look down, release the eyelids, and blink naturally. In this way, your contact lenses will naturally fit onto your eyeballs, and now the contact lenses can be safely worn on your eyes!
