Measures to control haze

The rapid development of industry in recent years has led to a rapid increase in the economy, but it has also brought about another major problem, which is the environmental problem. PM2.5, haze weather, sandstorm, these terms frequently appear in our lives. Haze not only brings great trouble to life, but also poses a huge threat to people's physical health. The number of patients with bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. has increased sharply. It is urgent to control the problem of smog.

I would like to make the following suggestions for controlling smog

First, reduce the use of private cars and advocate low-carbon travel such as walking and taking buses. In recent years, with the increasing number of private cars, environmental pollution has become increasingly serious. However, the country seems to have already considered these issues, but the key is that their implementation is difficult. It is particularly important to encourage everyone to consciously reduce the number of times they drive. For example, the government can provide free buses, and passengers can enjoy more social benefits to stimulate people to reduce the use of private cars. Vigorously promote the use of gas-powered clean energy vehicles. Employers can respond to the government's call and provide certain support for low-carbon travel such as walking or cycling.

Second, excessive emissions from corporate chimneys are also a favorable factor in aggravating the formation of haze. Therefore, environmental protection departments should regularly inspect the pollution discharge of enterprises and increase penalties for violations. Severe punishment will be imposed on enterprises that repeatedly appear on the blacklist despite repeated violations; for enterprises with good performance, the government can relax restrictions on the sales channels of their products. Such policy shifts will help enterprises to learn from each other and promote the accelerated implementation of emission management.

Third, take advantage of the ability of green plants to purify the air and encourage and mobilize more people to join in the planting of green vegetation. Plants are natural purifiers. It is important to cultivate more plants that are suitable for growing in winter, such as pine trees and other green plants. This can effectively absorb harmful substances in the air and play a certain role in improving environmental quality.

If we want to truly improve the air quality problem, the key is to reduce the emission of haze. Let producers pay great attention and enhance environmental awareness. Follow the basic principles of environmental protection in my country, "coordinated development of economic construction and environmental protection; prevention first, combination of prevention and control, comprehensive management; whoever develops, whoever protects, whoever pollutes, whoever manages; rely on the masses to protect the environment."

In terms of haze control, we should control it from three aspects: "source, transmission channel, and recipient".

First of all, at the source, we should reduce the use of heavy polluting energy. Factories should give priority to using clean energy as raw materials. When special requirements are used for fuels such as coal or oil, they must obtain the consent of relevant departments before they can be put into use.

Secondly, smoke and dust removal equipment should be installed along the transmission route to control pollutants within a reasonable standard range before they can be discharged. Enterprises generally believe that purchasing equipment results in a waste of costs. In response, the state can provide appropriate subsidies for dust removal equipment to reduce purchasing pressure on enterprises.

Finally, as for the recipients, people should reduce outdoor travel on hazy days and be sure to wear anti-smog masks when going out to avoid harm to humans caused by respiratory diseases. r> The prevention and control of haze is a long-term social problem.
