In life, many people have the habit of picking their noses, and they always pick their noses unconsciously. In fact, this practice is wrong. Frequent nose picking will cause a lot of stimulation to the capillaries in the nasal cavity, making the capillaries particularly fragile. When the nose is subjected to some external force, nosebleeds will occur. Nosebleeds are mainly caused by the rupture of the nasal mucosa. Rhinitis membrane damage and frequent nosebleeds It is generally a chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa. Inflammation can cause the mucosa to become dry, congested, and easy to bleed. Sometimes rubbing your nose, or increasing nasal pressure, such as when you lower your head, can easily lead to bleeding. This situation is mainly caused by chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa. Pay attention to rest, maintain a regular life, eat less spicy and irritating foods, and be careful not to pick your nose. This usual habit is also very important. Nosebleed care methods Method 1 People who often have nosebleeds may have too much energy and too much internal heat. They need to supplement with vitamins such as vegetables and fruits, and also eat some foods that can reduce internal heat. Method 2 It is a very wrong practice to tilt your head back to stop the bleeding when you have a nosebleed, because the blood will flow back into the mouth. Remember not to panic, calm down first, sit down and rest to maintain your strength. Method 3 Breathe through your mouth, never through your nose. Plug your nose with something to prevent the bleeding. If you don't have paper, you can pinch your nose with your hand. Method 4 Use cold water to pat your forehead a few times, and you will find that the bleeding will stop quickly. Then don't get excited, and still use paper to plug your nostrils. Method 5 Loosen your collar and cuffs, which are tight and uncomfortable places, to allow air to flow in. Relax your body and mind and don't be nervous. Method 6 You can rinse your nose with cold water. On the one hand, it cools the capillaries in the nose and makes the wound smaller. On the other hand, it washes out the remaining blood in the nose. Method 7 Push the nostril on the bleeding side towards the bridge of the nose and hold it there for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the blood inside to coagulate and stop the bleeding. If bleeding occurs on both sides, pinch both nostrils. After the nosebleed has stopped, there will often be solidified blood clots in the nostrils. Do not rush to get them out. Try to avoid sneezing and rubbing hard to prevent further bleeding. Method 8 When the patient's left (right) nostril is bleeding, another person can hook the patient's right (left) middle finger with his middle finger and bend it forcefully, which usually stops the bleeding in a few tens of seconds. Or, you can tie the patient's middle finger with a cloth strip, and then prick the right (left) middle finger if the left (right) nostril is bleeding. After the nosebleed stops, untie the cloth strip. |
