What to do if your throat is dry and sore

Dry and sore throat is very common in daily life. It not only causes great harm to the patient's physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to find a scientific and effective treatment method. You can eat more white radish, pears, and ginger, and drink more water and honey. If you persist in doing so for a long time, there will be significant results. Friends in need can try it.

1. White radish

Contains vitamins A and C, which enhance the body's resistance and have anti-inflammatory effects.

Boil spring onions (you can only use the white part), ginger slices and white radish to dispel cold and relieve cough;

Cut the white radish into small pieces and pickle it with sugar to relieve throat discomfort.

2. Honey

Its moisturizing effect effectively relieves throat inflammation. Simply add warm water and mix it to drink, but the water temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will destroy the nutrients.

The vitamin C in lemon can prevent colds and strengthen immunity, while the sour taste increases saliva secretion and moistens the throat.

Add honey to make honey lemon water to improve dry and sore throat.

3. Pear

It is rich in water, multiple vitamins, calcium and phosphorus, which can relieve cough and enhance the ability to resist bacteria.

Different ways of eating have different effects. Chinese medicine believes that eating pears raw can relieve hoarseness and dry and itchy throat caused by colds, drinking the juice can moisten the throat and quench thirst, and eating cooked pears can moisten the lungs and relieve coughs.

However, pears are cold in nature and should not be eaten in excess. It is recommended to peel the pears, add rock sugar and water, stew them into soup, and then drink it cooked to reduce heat and moisten the throat.

4. Ginger

It can promote blood circulation and keep the body warm, and its nutrients can relieve coughs and treat colds.

When you are sick and have a poor appetite, eating ginger can increase your appetite.

5. Water

Drinking enough water helps the body excrete bacteria and prevents toxins from accumulating in the body and causing disease, so you must drink an adequate amount of water whether on weekdays or when you are sick.

During a sore throat, water can keep the throat moist and reduce discomfort.

You might want to try adding a little salt to warm water before drinking. Salt water can increase saliva secretion, moisturize the throat and have antibacterial properties.
