Some people may also experience discomfort in the area below the neck near the collarbone, especially pain symptoms that need attention. So what causes pain below the neck near the collarbone?

1. Cervical lymphadenitis

This may be a case of cervical lymphadenitis, which is mostly caused by eating too much spicy food or overwork and poor rest, resulting in yin deficiency and internal heat, leading to congestion, edema and inflammation of the lymph nodes in the neck. It is recommended to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and less spicy and other irritating foods.

2. Symptoms

Acute lymphadenitis is often accompanied by chills, fever, fatigue, general malaise and loss of appetite. Unilateral or bilateral cervical lymph nodes are enlarged, may be tender, have a medium texture, a smooth surface, and are movable. The number and size of swollen lymph nodes vary, mostly ranging from the size of a bean to a thumb. Acute lymphadenitis often causes local redness, swelling, fever and pain. The symptoms of acute attacks of chronic lymphadenitis are the same as those of acute lymphadenitis. After anti-infection treatment, the lymph nodes shrank, but they were still palpable, movable, and painless.

3. Others

The lymph nodes in the neck are swollen and tender, the organs in the lymphatic drainage area are acutely inflamed, and the whole body may have symptoms such as chills and fever. The diagnosis can be made in combination with laboratory tests. This disease should be differentiated from cervical lymph node tuberculosis, malignant lymphoma, and metastatic malignant tumors. Lymph node puncture or excisional biopsy was performed when necessary. Treat primary infection lesions, fight infection, strengthen nutrition, enhance body resistance, etc.
