Is the itching in the ear piercing an infection or healing?

In summer, the weather is warm and bacteria are easy to breed, making it a season when wounds are prone to infection. Although ear piercing causes little wound, it can become infected if not cared for properly. After getting their ears pierced, girls should take good care of themselves and observe the condition of the ear holes at all times to prevent infection, redness, swelling, and bleeding. So if your ear hole itches after getting it pierced, is it an infection or is it healing?

The itching is because flesh is growing.

1. The best time to pierce your ears: The best time to pierce your ears is at the end of March and the end of September because the weather is just right, neither too cold nor too hot. At other times, it is either too cold or too hot, which is not conducive to ear repair.

2. Time required to replace earrings: Don't listen to people who have pierced ears and say that you can replace them after three days. It won't heal well and it can easily cause inflammation. Personal experience: You must remove the earrings when you don't feel any discomfort when you turn them, which is about a month. Before the wound heals, it is generally difficult for the earrings to poke into the hole, and it is easier to poke the wound, resulting in new injuries before the old ones heal. In fact, it takes about a year for the ear holes to really heal well. During this period, water will flow and there will be an itchy feeling. Remember to use a cotton swab dipped in disinfectant to clean it. Be careful when piercing ears for sensitive skin, because according to scientific principles, the skin in the ear area can best detect a person's true skin quality. If the inflammation is serious, you must go to the hospital in time to solve it.

Here are some suggestions for those girls with skin allergies: a. Make sure to find a clean place to get your earrings done; b. Make sure your earrings are anti-allergenic or made of platinum.

3. Medicines needed to maintain ear holes: Some girls think that chloramphenicol eye ointment should never be used, and the ear holes should be kept clean. However, if it is not used, the pus from the ear holes will stick to the ear holes and ear studs. Once the ear studs are turned, the wounds that have healed will break again. This is simply a vicious cycle. In fact, you only need to use ear needles (that is, earrings), dip a little chloramphenicol, and then wear them. I personally think that erythromycin is more effective than chloramphenicol, of course, the price is slightly more expensive. How to use: Use erythromycin ointment with medical alcohol, clean once every five days, use silver ear studs, or plastic ones, and take them out on time. First, clean the ear holes, ear studs, and ear plugs with alcohol, put the needles of the ear studs in the ointment and prick them before inserting them, and apply ointment around the ear holes. During that time, eat less irritating things, keep your ears clean, avoid strong collisions to avoid hurting the ear holes, use silver ear studs instead of hooks, and stick to it for a month. The ear holes will not die or become inflamed. In addition, if there is no erythromycin ointment, Mentholatum's mint ointment is also a very good choice.

4. The best earrings for maintaining ear holes: Generally, pure silver, pure gold, or pure platinum will not cause inflammation. If the plastic ones are cleaned daily, they will not cause inflammation. I even think that if the skin is not allergic, you can directly choose plastic ones, which are cheap and easy to use. Many earrings on the market, including some famous brands, are not pure, so they are easy to get inflamed. And many beautiful Korean popular earrings are basically not pure, so the way to control it is that you'd better not be greedy for fashion, and wait until the ear holes are completely healed before chasing fashion. Ear holes that are not well maintained at the beginning are generally prone to inflammation in the future, and then the gain will outweigh the loss.
