What causes fibroids

What causes fibroids

Many people don’t quite understand the causes of fibroids, so they have not been able to do a good job of preventing the disease. In order to avoid the continued occurrence of the disease, let us understand what causes the occurrence of fibroids. I hope the following content can bring some help to patients.

Experts suggest that fibroids are closely related to endocrine. Let's take a closer look at the two causes of fibroids.

Overstimulation of estrogen: The formation of fibroids is related to the vigorous function of the female ovaries and the sensitivity of the body and local breast tissue to the overstimulation of estrogen. This is a very common cause of fibroids.

Endocrine disorders may be caused by high estrogen secretion in the body. Chinese medicine believes that it is caused by irritability, anger, worry, mental pressure, sentimentality, anxiety, excessive liver fire, and stagnation of liver and spleen qi. This is not inconsistent with Western medicine. Excessive liver fire will inevitably affect the endocrine system.

Congenital factors: that is to say, the sensitivity of fibroblasts in the lobules to estrogen is abnormally increased. These fibroblasts contain a large number of estrogen receptors, which leads to the formation of fibroids. This is a congenital cause, but many women ignore this cause.

Of course, fibroids are benign tumors, but if they are not treated in time, the damage they cause is also very large and cannot be ignored. After understanding what causes fibroids, I hope everyone can better prevent and treat this disease.
