(6) Prescriptions for strengthening the meridians and tonifying the collaterals: such as cinnamon twig, dragon bone, oyster, red spoon, liquorice, Ligustrum lucidum, Eclipta prostrata, Schisandra chinensis, etc. 2. Western medicine treatment The treatment should first be based on the area of baldness. If the area is small, only local medication is used, such as topical hormone lotions or fresh ginger juice to stimulate the growth of hair follicles. Generally, hair can grow in 3-6 months. If the area is large, oral hormones can be taken, such as 15-30 mg of prednisone per day, and the dosage can be gradually reduced. Generally, hair will grow within 2 months, but since this drug has certain side effects, it needs to be taken under the guidance of a doctor. In addition, multivitamins and some Chinese medicines such as Shouwu tablets also have an auxiliary therapeutic effect.
