If there is insufficient muscle strength or imbalance, muscle strengthening training should be done. Applying heat or massaging the affected area before exercise and applying ice to the affected area after exercise can effectively prevent pain from recurring. Stretching exercises for the calf muscles and Achilles tendon can increase the flexibility of the tibialis posterior muscle and prevent tissue adhesion from injury. Doing these exercises before and after exercise is a must-do exercise to prevent calf pain.
