The upper part of this tube is in the ureter, and the lower part is in the bladder. It is mainly used to facilitate the discharge of residual stones and prevent ureteral and kidney lithotripsy. After the stones are discharged, the ureter is only used for downloading. This tube is usually removed one month after the operation.

Before removing the tube, a urine test should be performed first. If the white blood cell count in the urine is relatively high, then anti-inflammatory treatment should be started first with oral levofloxacin or fosfomycin tromethamine powder for three to five days. Tube removal requires local anesthesia and cystoscopy. The cystoscope is used to clamp the end of the tube and then remove the double tube of the ureter.
