What are the treatments for athlete's foot cracks?

There are many symptoms of athlete's foot, among which cracks on the feet are a very common symptom. If you do not receive prompt treatment after having symptoms of athlete's foot, the wound is likely to get bigger. To relieve the symptoms of athlete's foot cracks, you can soak your toes in saline solution, dry your toes, pay attention to your toenails, pay attention to foot hygiene, sprinkle powder between your toes, or take supplements.

1. Soak in salt water solution

Prepare a saline solution with 2 teaspoons of salt for every 47 ml of warm water. Soak your feet in this mixture for 5-10 minutes at a time. Repeat until the condition improves. The saline solution helps provide an environment that is not suitable for mold growth and reduces excessive sweating.

2. Dry your toes

Keep your feet dry. After bathing and washing your feet, dry each toe carefully and make sure the towel is only used once and has not been used by anyone else.

3. Pay attention to your toenails

Toenails are a favorite breeding ground for mold, so clean the nail dirt at least every 2-3 days. When scraping nail dirt, remember to use wooden products such as toothpicks or matchsticks, and do not use metal pieces for scraping nails.

4. Pay attention to foot hygiene

Cut raw garlic into small pieces and put them in your shoes and wear them for a few days. The garlic will be absorbed into the skin. Wear cotton, moisture-wicking socks. Allow your shoes to air out and change your socks daily.

5. Sprinkle some powder between your toes

After bathing, let your feet air dry for 5 to 10 minutes before putting on shoes and socks. To speed up drying, spread your toes and use a hair dryer to dry them. Then sprinkle some talcum powder. If you are worried about spreading the powder everywhere, you can sprinkle the powder into a plastic bag first, then put your feet into the bag to evenly cover them with the powder.

6. Supplement nutrients

Vitamin B group: can promote cell regeneration and prevent the recurrence of athlete's foot.

Vitamin C: It is important for immune function, improves blood circulation and wound recovery, and helps the absorption of vitamin B.

Zinc: Can inhibit fungi and stimulate the immune system.

Natural Herbs: Make your own pau choy tea and drink three cups a day. You can also prepare a strong tea solution with pau d'arco and 20 drops of Aerobic 07, soak your feet in it for 15 minutes, and you can get quick results.
