What meridian is on the inside of the arm

What meridian is on the inside of the arm

The meridians of the human body are a complex situation because each person's physical condition is different. So for many people, what they need to understand is the important meridians that make up the body. Moreover, the inner side of the arm is a very critical part. Once disease problems occur, especially meridian problems, they will be seriously injured. The treatment is rather complicated, so what meridian is on the inside of the arm?

There are 6 meridians running through the arm. They are the three yang meridians running along the outer side of the arm (where the skin is thicker and darker), and the three yin meridians running along the inner side of the arm (where the skin is whiter and tenderer).

In meridian theory, "up and down" refers to the up and down when a person is standing upright with his hands hanging naturally and his legs naturally together. Although this description is easy to understand, it is not accurate enough. You can add hands, head, and feet to refine the description.

The three Yang meridians start from the fingertips, go up along the outer side of the forearm and upper arm to the shoulder, pass through the side of the neck to the head and face;

The three yin meridians start from the chest and abdomen, run from the armpits to the inner sides of the upper arms and forearms, and end at the fingertips.

In short: the three yang meridians of the hand run from the hand to the head (from bottom to top), and the three yin meridians of the hand run from the chest to the hand (from top to bottom).

Similarly, the meridians running through the legs and feet are called "foot meridians."

The three yang meridians of the foot descend from the head, through the trunk, along the outer sides of the thighs and calves, and descend to the toes; the three yin meridians of the foot ascend from the toes, through the inner sides of the calves and thighs, and ascend to the chest and abdomen.

In short: the three yang meridians of the foot run from the head to the foot (top to bottom), and the three yin meridians of the hand run from the foot to the abdomen and chest (bottom to top). It just happens to be interchangeable with the hand meridians.

The direction of meridians is mainly based on the experience of clinical massage and acupuncture. In fact, in terms of general health care, when scraping or massaging, just operate in the direction mentioned above. This will make the patient feel much more comfortable.

Clinically, the treatment of the meridians can also have the effects of tonifying and purging. For details, please refer to books on acupuncture, massage, and meridian theory.
