This not only does not require medication, but also has a very good effect on treating the cervical spine. However, people need to pay attention to choosing the corresponding acupoints when massaging, so that the effect will be better. The corresponding acupoints for cervical vertebrae massage are mainly divided into five places, and you must know these parts.

Cervical spondylosis, also known as "cervical syndrome", is a complex symptom caused by degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs, vertebral bodies, joints, and ligaments in the neck, which stimulate or compress tissues such as the cervical spinal nerve roots, spinal cord, vertebral arteries, and paravertebral sympathetic nerves. It affects a wide range of clinical syndromes. The following are the acupuncture points:

1. Massage the muscle groups on both sides of the neck

Sit upright and massage the muscles on both sides of the neck with your thumbs 3 to 5 times to relax the muscles, focusing on the painful points. Then press and rub the Fengchi acupoint for 1 minute until the soreness and swelling are relieved.

2. Rub the trapezius muscles of the shoulders

Sit upright, and the masseur will knead the trapezius muscles on both sides of the shoulders, relaxing the muscles extensively from the inside to the outside, repeatedly 3 to 5 times. Use the thumbs to knead the attachment of the upper inner corners of the shoulder blades on both sides for half a minute, and knead the Jianjing acupoints for half a minute, until you feel soreness and swelling.

3. Rub the back muscles

Sit upright, and the masseur rubs the back muscles from top to bottom with the palm of his hand 3 to 5 times to relax the muscles. Then use the thumb to rub the area between the thoracic spinous process and the inner edge of the scapula from top to bottom, focusing on the painful points and the cord-like areas, and repeat the massage 3 to 5 times.

4. Palm massage bilateral infraspinatus muscles

Sit upright, and the massager rubs the infraspinatus muscles on both sides with the palms of their hands for half a minute, and then uses the thumb to press and rub the Tianzong point and the painful point in the subspinatus for half a minute each. The technique should not be too heavy, and it is appropriate to feel a sore and swollen feeling.

5. Pat shoulders and back

Sit upright, and the massager pats the shoulders and back with the palms of his hands with gentle force to relieve fatigue.

Recommendation: Strengthen the neck and shoulder muscle exercises in daily life, and do head flexion, extension, left and right lateral flexion and upper limb exercises after work. This can relieve fatigue, develop muscles, enhance toughness, and help stabilize the short spine.

Get rid of the bad habit of sleeping with a high pillow. A high pillow will cause the head to flex forward, increasing the stress on the lower cervical spine and possibly accelerating cervical degeneration.
