Why does my heart feel pounding?

Heart problems cause many patients to experience a variety of symptoms, and most of the symptoms caused by the heart are fatal and may endanger the patient's life at any time. Therefore, it is very necessary to pay attention to heart problems and solve them as early as possible. Some patients may experience a palpitating feeling in their heart. Let’s take a look at what causes the palpitating feeling in the heart.

Heart twitch is more common in young women, and the incidence rate in men is slightly lower. Simply put, it is a symptom similar to neurasthenia, which may be accompanied by insomnia and nightmares. In short, no special treatment is needed, and don't be overly nervous. You don't need to see a doctor, just relax.

Heart convulsions in the elderly may be caused by coronary heart disease, etc., and need to be examined and treated as soon as possible.

Heart convulsions in young people are 3 types of diseases:

When the human body feels the heart twitching, it may be that the heart is experiencing premature beats, tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation. If the heart twitches occasionally and single times, it is usually a premature heart beat. However, if you feel so much pain that you cannot move, it is very likely that you have ventricular tachycardia.

1. Premature beats

Under normal circumstances, our heartbeat is very regular, like a pendulum, but in some cases the heartbeat occurs prematurely and at a low frequency, which is called premature beats.

Premature heart beats are mostly seen in normal people. They usually do not cause subjective symptoms and will not cause circulatory disorders. The symptoms of premature beats are that some patients may feel palpitations and a sense of "heart stopping". When the number of premature contractions is too many, they will feel that their "heartbeat is very chaotic". They may also have chest tightness, discomfort in the precordial area, dizziness, fatigue, and intermittent pulse. Some patients do not have obvious symptoms of premature beats. This may be because the premature contraction lasts for a long time and the patient has adapted to it.

In addition, the symptoms of premature contractions are closely related to the patient's mental state. Many symptoms of many patients are caused by incorrect understanding of premature contractions and emotions such as fear and anxiety.

2. Ventricular tachycardia

Ventricular tachycardia refers to a tachycardia consisting of 3-5 or more wide and deformed QRS complexes originating below the bifurcation of the His bundle. Similar in form to paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, but the symptoms are more severe.

The child is irritable, pale, and has rapid breathing. Older children may complain of palpitations, precordial pain, and in severe cases, syncope, shock, congestive heart failure, etc.

3. Ventricular fibrillation

Ventricular fibrillation, abbreviated as VF, is a rapid and weak contraction or uncoordinated rapid tremor of the ventricular muscle. As a result, the heart fails to pump blood, heart sounds and pulse disappear, blood perfusion to the heart, brain and other organs and surrounding tissues stops, and Adams-Stokes syndrome occurs and sudden death occurs.
