What are the methods for vaccinating swine wheezing disease

Swine panting vaccine is a must-have vaccine for livestock, especially in some slaughterhouses or farms. Vaccination of these animals is indispensable. It is necessary to understand whether the vaccination is effective. If no antibodies and effects are produced after the first injection, a second injection is required. The following are some vaccination methods in breeding pig farms.

Method 1:

1. Breeding pigs (including breeding sows, boars, and reserve pigs) without clinical symptoms should be vaccinated once in spring and autumn each year;

2. After 15 days of age, suckling piglets will be vaccinated once for the first time. When they are 3-4 months old, the pigs determined to be kept for breeding will be vaccinated twice. Pigs for fattening do not need to be vaccinated twice. Provide immune reserve breeding pigs to the society.

3. Breeding pigs with clinical symptoms shall be isolated for treatment or eliminated, and the piglets produced shall be raised and managed in separate pig sties and not kept for breeding.

4. Quarantine or observe before introducing the species, and vaccinate after ensuring they are healthy.

Method 2:

1. After quarantine or isolation observation, select enough reserve pigs without wheezing disease, vaccinate them, and raise and manage them separately. In this way, an immune healthy breeding pig herd is established to replace the original sexual pig herd;

2. After the establishment of the immunized breeding pig herd, the vaccine should be injected once a year;

3. Piglets are first vaccinated from 15 days old to before weaning, and pigs to be kept for breeding are second vaccinated at 3-4 months old;

4. Quarantine before introduction and vaccinate after confirming their health.

Method 3:

1. Breeding pigs and reserve pigs without clinical symptoms should be vaccinated once in spring and autumn each year;

2. Piglets born from immunized sows are vaccinated once during the lactation period until they are grown and marketed;

3. Breeding pigs with clinical symptoms shall be isolated for treatment or eliminated, and piglets born by sick sows shall be raised and managed separately and not kept for breeding. 4. Quarantine or isolate for observation before introduction, and vaccinate after confirming their health.
