What are some tips for opening red wine bottle corks

A lot of people like to drink red wine, mainly because red wine has certain beauty-enhancing effects. In particular, many girls will drink some red wine appropriately, which can have a good skin care effect. However, opening the bottle cork before drinking becomes a very difficult thing. Sometimes you don’t have enough strength to open it at all, and if you use too much strength, the cork will directly break. Therefore, you must pull it out vertically and cannot shake it left and right.

1. Wild towel bottle opening method

1. Wrap a towel around the bottom of the wine bottle.

2. Place the bottom of the bottle against a wall or tree, keep the bottle body vertical to the wall or tree, hold the bottleneck with your hand, hit the bottom of the bottle evenly and forcefully, and the cork will slowly be pushed out. If there is no wall or tree, you can also use your knees or the soles of your shoes to hit the bottom of the bottle.

3. Once the cork is partially pushed out, you can pull it out with your hands or pliers. Or you can just keep hitting it rhythmically until the entire cork is pushed out. If you want to open a bottle of carbonated beverage (such as champagne or beer), let it sit for 10-15 minutes before opening it.

2. Daily wine opening methods at home

You can also try to remove the cork using the following method. Be as careful as possible to prevent the cork from splitting. Also, make sure that any tools that come into contact with the cork are clean, as dirty tools may cause contamination of the wine.

1. Pliers + screws

1. Take out a screw and a pair of pliers.

2. Nail part of the screw into the cork and leave the other part outside.

3. Use pliers to tighten the screw and pull it out together with the cork.

(II) Bottle opening with a knife

1. Use a fruit knife or a serrated knife.

Note: The blade should not be too wide or too narrow. It should just be able to penetrate the cork without cutting the edge of the cork.

2. Insert the blade into the center of the cork, trying to avoid cutting the edges. Hold the neck of the bottle with one hand and slowly turn the knife handle to drive the cork to turn together; do not use too much force when turning. Then slowly lift the knife handle upwards and slowly pull out the cork.

(III) Hook bottle opening method

1. Find a hook or a thin steel wire.

2. Use pliers to adjust the angle of the hook or wire to an appropriate level.

3. Insert the hook into the bottle from one side of the cork, rotate the hook and hook the cork to pull it out.

Note: It is best to wear a pair of gloves when operating to avoid scratching your fingers with the hook.

(IV) Shoelace bottle opening method

1. Find shoelaces or other sturdy rope.

2. Tie a knot at one end of the strap.

3. Use a sturdy steel needle to bring the strap into the bottom of the cork.

4. Take out the steel needle and pull the belt outwards with force, pulling the cork out together.

(V) Paperclip bottle opening method

1. Take two paper clips and a pen. Partially straighten the paper clip, keeping the bends at both ends intact.

2. Insert two paper clips into the bottle through the gap between the cork and the bottle mouth until one end of the paper clip is lower than the cork.

3. Rotate the paper clip to hook the cork.

4. Wrap the other end of the paper clip tightly, insert the pen into the wrapped part, pull up, and slowly pull out the cork.
