Usually our scars can be divided into spots, or scars caused by injuries, among which spots can be divided into red spots and black spots. The red spots are caused by the inflammation of the cells in the place where the acne originally appeared, which causes the dilation of blood vessels. After the acne disappears, flat, red, temporary red spots will form. The black one is the pigmentation caused by acne inflammation, which will leave black pigments everywhere and make the skin dull. This type of spots and pigments will disappear after a long period of precipitation. They are temporary pseudo-scars. Of course, it will take some time for the red spots and melanin spots to disappear, but if the cells do not transport the melanin away, the melanin will not disappear. So how can we make melanin disappear smoothly? 1. Treatment methods for black acne scars: A) Use L-C skin care products or L-C ultrasound to brighten skin tone and promote skin collagen production B) Use skin care products containing fruit acid: treat acne and improve acne scars at the same time, promote the exfoliation of dead skin cells, help skin renewal, improve pigmentation after acne, and lighten dark spots C) Highly effective whitening products or whitening treatments: slow down the production of deep melanin and accelerate melanin metabolism 2. Treatment methods for pitting scars: A) Fruit acid peel: Use high concentrations of fruit acid to exfoliate the skin, causing the aging stratum corneum to fall off, accelerating the renewal of keratinocytes and a small number of upper epidermal cells, and promoting the proliferation of elastic fibers in the dermis. It has a good effect on shallow acne scars and can also improve enlarged pores. However, it takes multiple courses of treatment to eliminate acne scars. However, the advantage is that it is safe and has few side effects. B) Filling method: implants (such as collagen) are injected to make the concave part bulge and make it level with the surrounding skin tissue; C) Pulsed light: stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts, thickens the dermis, and smoothes out pits. At the same time, because pulsed light can stimulate the proliferation of collagen, this method has a certain effect on red acne marks and newly formed shallow pits. D) Deep skin regeneration treatment: It targets deep acne and pores, can reduce acne scars and brighten skin; E) Laser dermabrasion: It is suitable for deeper pits. The dermabrasion surgery can be performed according to the depth of the skin pits. It only takes 2 to 3 times to have good results, and the effect is longer-lasting. However, due to the large wound caused by laser dermabrasion, post-operative care is required. If the post-operative care is not done well, the skin may turn red and dark. 3. Treatment methods for hypertrophic convex scars: A) Local subcutaneous injection: For keloids and hypertrophic scars, the drug injection is directly injected into the subcutaneous part of the acne scar for treatment. The main ingredients of this drug are steroids, which can fight inflammation and dissolve inflamed tissue. This is currently the simplest and most effective treatment for hypertrophic scars. Although acne scars can gradually soften and become flat after several injection treatments, the pigmentation of the scar tissue cannot be reduced, so there will still be certain traces after healing, and the appearance of normal skin cannot be completely restored. B) Laser and other light therapies such as dye laser: They have a smoothing effect on hypertrophic scars. 4. Some points to note when treating acne scars: A. No matter what kind of acne scar you are treating, you must first cure the acne so that it does not grow again. Otherwise, if you are treating acne scars while new acne is appearing, you will not be able to achieve the best results. B. After treatment, you can use external whitening skin care products combined with fruit acid products to enhance the therapeutic effect. On the one hand, it inhibits the production of melanin, and on the other hand, it promotes skin metabolism and accelerates the elimination of melanin. Such as L-vitamin C, androcyanine, A acid, kojic acid and so on. However, whitening skin care products and fruit acid skin care products are more effective in reducing melanin deposition, but are relatively less effective in fading red acne scars. C. Applying a facial mask can also help with the recovery of acne scars. On the one hand, the mask can increase the surface temperature of the skin, creating a self-circulation effect on the face, helping to even out skin tone. At the same time, the repair nutrients contained in the mask can be better absorbed by the underlying skin. On the other hand, frequently applying a facial mask can help accelerate skin metabolism and help the skin repair itself. D. During pulse light treatment, it can be combined with fruit acid treatment and L-C infusion. How to combine them depends on the skin condition at the time. Pulsed light has an improving effect on the treatment of pigmentation, especially red spots, because pulsed light has the function of eliminating microvessels. However, since the depth of proliferation of microvessels in the skin varies, the skin will become lighter after each treatment, and multiple treatments are required. |
