How to make thick lips thinner?

Everyone's face is different, and their facial features are also different. Lips are also a common part of the face. Some people have thick lips, while others have thin lips. These are all congenital. But not everyone likes thin lips or thick lips. Some people think that thick lips affect their appearance. In this case, there is no need to worry too much. Or the lips can be improved through later treatment, and there are also special methods to make thick lips thinner. If the lips are too thick, it will greatly affect the beauty of the face. In this case, if you want to make the thick lips thinner, you can use special beauty techniques to solve this problem. So how can you make the lips thinner?

1. Principle of lip thinning surgery:

The thick lip thinning surgery requires careful preoperative design based on the patient's actual situation. The incision is designed according to the width of the red lip tissue to be removed, and then the mucosa is cut along the designed line. The wedge-shaped incision is deepened to remove an appropriate amount of the orbicularis oris muscle, and the natural shape of the lips is designed according to the proportion of the patient's facial features. After lip thinning surgery, the lips become natural, coordinated, and beautiful.

2. Methods of lip thinning:

First, measure the excess growth and mark it with methylene blue. An incision line is designed at the junction of the lip mucosa on the inner side of the lip vermilion and the oral mucosa. To ensure that the lip bead of the upper lip is obvious after lip thinning surgery and to increase the beauty, the incision line should be designed to be arc-shaped, parallel to the lip arch edge of the upper lip, with a width of generally 4-6 mm and a depth of no more than 6 mm. The longitudinal sections of the two incisions form an angle of 70-90 degrees. The two ends of the incision can be appropriately extended to the cheek to avoid the appearance of "cat ears" at the corners of the mouth and keep the shape of the corners of the mouth natural.

3. Suitable patients for lip thinning surgery:

Congenital lip hypertrophy, double lip, facial nerve paralysis, Crohn's disease causing hypertrophy of lip connective tissue and flat lower lip, and precursor symptoms of epithelial cancer can all be treated with lip thinning surgery. The lip thinning operation takes about 1 hour and is performed under local anesthesia. The swelling will start to subside 3-5 days after the operation and will be basically recovered in 10 days.

4. Precautions before lip thinning surgery:

Do not take medications containing aspirin within two weeks before surgery. Patients with hypertension and diabetes should inform their doctors of their conditions during the initial visit so that the doctor can confirm the lip thinning surgery plan. Before lip thinning surgery, make sure there is no infectious disease or other body inflammation.
