How to perform fixed tooth restoration?

Fixed tooth restoration is a common method of dental treatment, but there are also many methods of fixed restoration, such as partial denture restoration, fixed denture restoration, dental implant restoration, etc. Each restoration method is different, and the corresponding restoration materials are also different. Teeth are a way for us to chew food. If the teeth are loose or fall off, it will affect the patient's eating. Some patients will also experience very severe pain, causing swelling of the gums. For fixed tooth restoration, everyone should go to a regular hospital.

1. Removable partial denture restoration:

This type of restoration is the most commonly used method of tooth restoration. It uses natural teeth and bases to cover the mucosa and bone tissue for support. Relying on the retention function of the denture's retainers and bases, the artificial teeth restore the shape and function of the missing teeth, and the base materials restore the defective alveolar ridge and soft tissue morphology. It is a restoration that patients can remove and wear by themselves.

2. Fixed denture restoration:

This type of restoration uses the natural teeth at both ends or one end of the missing tooth gap as abutment teeth, on which the retainers of the denture are made and connected to the artificial teeth as a whole. The denture is bonded to the abutment teeth with adhesives, and the patient cannot remove it by himself. The combined force of missing teeth is mainly transmitted to the periodontal supporting tissues through the abutment teeth, which can fully restore part of the chewing function lost due to missing teeth, without any foreign body sensation and without affecting the functional activities of the tongue.

3. Dental implant restoration:

Dental implants are a good choice for restoring missing teeth. If your bone conditions allow, you can have as many teeth implanted as you have missing teeth, or you can just plant a few artificial tooth roots as the bridge base. Using implant-fixed bridges avoids the discomfort, lack of aesthetics, and low chewing efficiency caused by grinding down healthy teeth for fixed bridges or removable dentures.

4. Fixed tooth restoration:

Fixed bridges, that is, artificial fixed dentures such as cast porcelain bridges, porcelain bridges, metal bridges, etc., are used to treat mild tooth defects, or missing a few natural teeth, abnormal tooth color, abnormal tooth shape, and repair tooth defects. Beautiful dental crown: The so-called metal beautiful dental crown is an inner crown made of metal, and then the porcelain is melted to the surface of the inner crown through high temperature to form a tooth that is the same as a natural tooth. Its color is very good and the appearance is very realistic. With the continuous advancement of technology, the combination of metal and ceramic is a perfect tooth restoration result. It also achieves the perfect effect of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, no discoloration and no deformation.
