What are the symptoms of rectal tumors

Rectal tumor is a disease caused by damage to the rectum. Now that people's lives are getting better and better, and they supplement too much animal fat and protein, the incidence of rectal cancer has also increased. The main symptom of rectal tumor is blood in the stool when going to the toilet. Rectal tumor is non-contagious, so there is no need to worry about infecting your family.

symptom

Early

1. Changes in bowel habits (such as increased bowel movement frequency or diarrhea or constipation).

2. The stool contains blood (easily confused with hemorrhoids) or is black.

3. The stool becomes deformed and thinner.

4. Tenesmus (the desire to defecate again after defecation).

5. Intermittent abdominal cramps.

6. Unexplained anemia, weight loss, lack of energy, and decreased appetite.

Mid-term

1. Blood in the stool: Blood in the stool is one of the most common symptoms of rectal tumors. However, other causes of blood in the stool include intestinal bleeding and hemorrhoids can also bleed. Therefore, when blood in the stool occurs, it is necessary to perform an endoscopic examination to confirm the condition.

2. Abnormal bowel movements: There is often pain during defecation, and the stool is often bloody. There is also a feeling of incomplete defecation, tenesmus, etc. The stool often contains mucus, pus and blood.

3. Abdominal pain: Patients with rectal tumors may also experience systemic symptoms, especially abdominal pain, which is often colic. Four stages

First

The tumor involves only the rectal wall and the first or second layer, with no lymph nodes involved.

second

The tumor infiltrated the mesorectum, but there was no lymph node involvement.

third

No matter how deep the tumor has penetrated, the lymph nodes are involved with the cancer.

fourth

There is convincing evidence of cancer in other parts of the body, outside of the rectal area.

Eat healthy

To prevent colorectal cancer, you should pay attention to your diet. The medical community generally believes that people who often eat a diet high in fat and low in fiber have a higher risk of developing colorectal cancer. Studies have shown that people in certain regions whose diets tend to focus on vegetables, fruits and other fiber-rich foods have lower rates of colon cancer than people in other regions.
