How to remove scale from a kettle? Collect these tips quickly

The removal of scale is a problem for many people. Scale can usually be seen in kettles and pipes. Since the water contains some impurities, some dirt will adhere to the wall of the kettle when boiling water. 1. Vinegar soaking method.

The method we most commonly use is to soak it in vinegar water, because vinegar contains acetic acid and scale contains calcium carbonate, the two can react chemically to remove scale. Pour white vinegar into the kettle, the ratio of vinegar to water should be 1:10. Then add clean water and bring to a boil. Let it sit for an hour before washing. You can easily clean the scale in the kettle.

2. Baking soda method.

Add water to the electric kettle, bring the water to a boil, then add a spoonful of baking soda and boil for a few minutes, and the scale can be removed.

3. Potato peel method.

Peel the potatoes, wash them, put them in a kettle, add boiling water, and boil them for 10 minutes. The scale in the kettle can be washed away.

4. Eggshell method.

Egg shells can also remove scale. Crush the egg shells and put them into the electric kettle. Add an appropriate amount of water, plug the spout, and shake it up and down with your hands a few times. The scale in the kettle can be rinsed clean quickly.

5. Leftover tea leaves method.

Tea contains tea alkali. Pour the tea leaves and boiling water into the electric kettle. Shake the kettle up and down several times and leave it for 30 minutes. The scale will fall off naturally.

6. Descaling the kettle by boiling sweet potatoes

Put more than half of the sweet potatoes in a new kettle, fill it with water, and cook the sweet potatoes. Next time you boil water, there will be no scale accumulation. But be careful not to scrub the inner wall of the kettle after boiling sweet potatoes, otherwise the descaling effect will be lost. For old kettles that are full of scale, after boiling them once or twice using the above method, not only will the original scale gradually fall off, but it will also prevent scale from accumulating again.

7. Descaling with bleach

You can go to the supermarket and buy some bleach, put in 2-3 teaspoons of bleach, add a small amount of water and rinse once or twice, it will be very clean.

8. Magnetization

Putting a magnet in the kettle not only prevents scale accumulation, but also magnetizes the boiled water, which also has the effect of preventing and treating constipation and pharyngitis.
