What are the causes of lung disease

The lungs are an important organ in the human body. Any disease has a cause, and lung disease is no exception. Clinically, the definition of lung disease is very broad, such as tuberculosis, lung cancer, etc. The causes of lung diseases are quite diverse and are also related to lifestyle habits. Severe lung diseases may be life-threatening, so the causes must be investigated and the right medicine must be prescribed during treatment.

1. Smoking

Smoke is an extremely acidic substance, which can easily cause acidification of the human body. An acidic body constitution can easily induce cancer. According to a large amount of survey data from various countries, the cause of lung cancer is closely related to smoking. The increase in lung cancer incidence is in parallel with the increase in cigarette sales. Cigarettes contain many carcinogens. The incidence of lung cancer in smokers is 10 times higher than that in non-smokers, and the incidence is even higher in heavy smokers, 20 times higher than that in non-smokers.

2. Occupational factors

In the 1930s, there were reports in the literature of a high incidence of lung cancer in a mining area in Europe. After years of investigation and research, it is now recognized that long-term exposure to radioactive substances such as uranium, radium and their derivatives, carcinogenic hydrocarbons, arsenic, chromium, nickel, copper, tin, iron, coal tar, asphalt, petroleum, asbestos, mustard gas and other substances, due to changes in people's dietary structure and living habits, will cause acidification of the body, resulting in a slowing of metabolic cycle and a decline in overall immune function, giving these radioactive elements an opportunity to induce cell cancer.

3. Chronic lung diseases

For example, tuberculosis, silicosis, pneumoconiosis, etc. can coexist with lung cancer. The occurrence of these chronic diseases itself is caused by acidification of the body, which leads to lung cell infection, cell hypoxia, and reduced cell activity. The incidence of cancer in these cases is higher than that in normal people. In addition, chronic bronchial inflammation and pulmonary fibrosis and scar lesions may cause squamous metaplasia or hyperplasia during the healing process. On this basis, some cases may develop into cancer. No matter what the cause is, other root causes require the support of the macro environment, that is, an acidic body constitution. If the body fluids are weakly alkaline, then cancer cells will not occur in the weakly alkaline body fluids.
