Do you have any symptoms of heart qi deficiency?

The heart is a very important organ in the human body, and deficiency of heart qi is often one of the important causes of heart discomfort. Patients with heart qi deficiency usually show symptoms such as insufficient heart qi, pale face and tongue. Congenital weak constitution, weak heart in old age, excessive fatigue, sweating, and long-term treatment can all cause deficiency, and people should pay full attention to it.

1. Symptoms of Heart Qi Deficiency

The heart qi is weak and cannot beat easily, so palpitations occur. When the heart qi is insufficient, the vital energy in the chest cannot circulate, so there is shortness of breath; when the heart qi is weak, the functional activities are weakened, so there is fatigue. Fatigue consumes energy, and the heart energy becomes further deficient after activity, so various symptoms are aggravated. Deficiency of heart qi and loss of mind spirit may lead to mental confusion.

The deficiency of heart qi makes it unable to transport blood to the face, and qi and blood are insufficient, so the complexion is pale and the tongue is pale. Qi deficiency causes the defense of the body to be weak, resulting in spontaneous sweating; Qi deficiency causes the blood circulation to lose its shareholders, and the pulse becomes weak, resulting in pulse deficiency.

2. Causes of Heart Qi Deficiency

1. Deficiency of endowment: It means congenital physical weakness, which may cause various diseases and may also cause deficiency of heart qi. Deficiency of endowment has genetic factors and is a symptom closely related to genetics. It is also related to infection, immune environmental factors, etc.

2. Old age and physical weakness: As we age, our internal organs gradually weaken and we become physically weak after illness. The so-called visceral qi refers to the qi of the five internal organs, which refers to the functional activities of the five internal organs. If the visceral qi is not sufficient, it means that the function of a certain organ is reduced, which is a manifestation of deficiency syndrome. Heart Qi mainly refers to some functional manifestations of the cardiovascular system. If the heart Qi is not sufficient, it will cause heart Qi deficiency.

3. Excessive fatigue: Excessive fatigue refers to a sub-healthy state of exhaustion caused by long working hours, excessive labor intensity, and excessive psychological pressure. Excessive fatigue can cause loss of heart qi, leading to heart qi deficiency.

4. Long-term illness: The resistance of sick people will be reduced, and those who have been ill for a long time will have worse resistance, making them more susceptible to invasion of various diseases. People who have been ill for a long time will suffer from both qi and blood deficiency, and lack of heart qi, which will cause heart qi deficiency.

5. Misperspiration and excessive sweating: Not sweating when you should sweat, and sweating when you should not sweat are both misperspiration. Excessive sweating refers to sweating too much. Both misperspiration and excessive sweating will cause the heart qi to be lost, resulting in insufficient heart qi and causing heart qi deficiency.

3. Diet therapy for heart qi deficiency

1. Add 15 grams of lily and 15 grams of longan meat, add a little rock sugar and stew it, then take it frequently in small amounts.

2. Cook porridge with 30 grams of lily, 30 grams of lotus seeds and 200 grams of rice and take it in the morning and evening.

3. Add 30 grams of longan meat, 15 grams of jujube, and 200 grams of glutinous rice, and cook into porridge.

The diet should be light, and you can eat seasonal fresh fruits and some foods that nourish the yang and yin essence, such as lean meat, fish, poultry, etc.

Avoid spicy food, as it forces the body fluids to be leaked out, which may further damage the heart's qi and yin; avoid raw, cold, fatty and sweet food, as it damages the spleen's yang, and fatty and sweet food produces phlegm, so they should be avoided. Alcohol can easily generate dampness and heat, consume Qi and damage Yin, so it should be avoided.

4. How to exercise when the heart is weak

People with weak heart qi should exercise moderately, not too vigorously, just enough to sweat slightly. Suitable exercises include walking.
