What are the causes of gastrointestinal disorders?

Gastrointestinal dysfunction is a common disease that can cause malnutrition, indigestion, and may even be often accompanied by diarrhea and abdominal distension. Patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction diseases are caused by not paying attention to their daily diet, overwork, and often not paying attention to proper bowel movements and drinking water. In normal times, it is necessary to first determine the type of disease through examination, and then determine the disease factors through irradiation examination and endoscopic examination, and choose the appropriate method of treatment.

Pathological etiology

There is no unified understanding of the pathogenesis of this disease. Mental factors play an important role in the occurrence and development of this disease. For example, excessive fatigue, emotional tension, family disputes, difficulties in life and work, if not properly resolved for a long time, may interfere with the normal activities of higher nerves, causing disorders of the brain-gut axis, and then causing gastrointestinal dysfunction. Suggestion and self-suggestion are the main causes of the disease. Patients often have disorders in gastrointestinal electromyographic activity and motility.

Eating disorders and frequent use of laxatives or enemas can constitute adverse stimulation and promote the occurrence and development of this disease.

Disease diagnosis

Organic diseases must be ruled out before diagnosing this disease, especially malignant lesions such as gastrointestinal tumors.

Inspection method

X-ray, endoscopy, gastric juice analysis and stool test can be used according to different situations. Ultrasound, CT and other examinations should be performed when necessary to exclude lesions of abdominal organs such as liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

Gastrointestinal X-ray examination shows that the movement of the entire gastrointestinal tract is accelerated, the colon bag is deepened, and the tension is increased. Sometimes due to colon spasm, a linear shadow appears below the descending colon. Colonoscopy shows no obvious abnormalities in the colon mucosa.
